Usernames
 

Some people have obvious reasons for their choices, like AndyK or Chris, for example, but if you're not one of those, why did you choose the name you did?

I'm Hypnobabe because I'm a hypnotherapist, and I'm trying very hard to convince you all I'm not a complete minger.... (Please tell me it's working.... lol)

I uses this name Caelan...

It's Celtic for girl..I love that...

and it's a part of the name of one of my dogs..

Actuially I changed my name by deed poll to match my username :)) I'd explain what my username means, but i've been excluded as i'm not one of those

Now now, let's not be personal... you might be one of those for all I know, but still in the closet.... :lol:

There's actually a very interesting story behind how I came by my username. But like <Real Name edited> above said, it would appear i am "one of those" so i am unable to tell you.

You will therefore just have to sit and wonder forever more,

Mine was a little tricky,
When i entered this site, i wanted to call myself R.
Because that´s the first letter of my first name. And always my singing under emails (thatswhy most of my posts got this below)
...
Then i wanted to call myself RJ, because some friends of mine call me so, that are the first letters of both of my firstnames
And now i got this, i thought it whould sound cool, I am working here at the radio and...
I didn´t know what i was thinking it was late and I had a hard day.
I´d like to change it, but don´t got any better idea, do you got one?

Mine isnt too weird it is just a silly way of spelling my first name and the sluff bit it came about at primary school when a mates dad mis-pronounced my last name as sluff and it kinda stuck as my nick name throughout my school years.

I am happy to be able to tell they are still around. Also I can add we get along just fine. A better way of posting should have been:

sunneke stands for sun that everyone nows, why sunneke, its a sweet name damn how do i translate it:??: :??: its like calling someone sweety. A few people from the internet choose this name for me, because they think i'm a sunny girl, who is always in for a good laugh.

I was a total internet novice when I started on some Meat Loaf message boards and my husband is overly concerned about personal information on the computer and internet. I knew that Meat went by Fire Ball here and the first message board I registered for I decided to use fireballgirl since at that time I had little imagination when it came to usernames. But that was taken by someone else so I had to add the year of my birth 63 - thus fireballgirl63 was born. And for sake of my sanity, I've kept it the same on all the message boards I'm on.

So there it is.
