Lucky Escape!
Our airport on Guernsey has been closed for 1 and a half days due to fog. This freighter was one of the first aircraft to land this afternoon once the fog lifted. He ran off the end of the very wet runway and as you can see just missed the landing lights and rolling off the top of the bank by inches! So the airport has closed again and won't be reopening any time soon until the plane has been dug out the mud. Oh, and the fog is coming down again!

I don't think so Ankie though I'm sure the crew were pretty shaken up. They were literally inches from something much more serious.
