Valentines (Part 1)
 

As we are coming up to the time of year when we all send lots of cards (to Dotie on the 11th and me on the 13th!!) for Valentines day, now is the time to confess.

How many Valentines cards will you be sending?

I sahll get things started by admitting to sending three this year!! :cool:

(incidentally, ones sent to yourself do NOT count!!)

I'm yet again not sending any.

mainly due to fear of making a complete fool of myself; but i haven't had a V card since I was like 7! lol!

Why should we bow to the pressure of the greetings card, florist and restaurant industry? If you have those feelings for someone tell them when you want to not when the corporate machines tell you too (and charge you extra for the privilege!)

I agree entirely, every year I tell my other half not to bother with Valentine's Day, or we'll agree just to get each other a card, though it never happens - he always spends a fortune on me and I end up paying for dinner, 'cause you can't go wrong with food! Madness!!!

However this year I think I shall be sending two, one to my other half and one to my best friend, who last year had the worst year you can think of, so I shall send him a Valentine's hug!

Although I will only send 1 this year, there is one special person on here who I believe deserves an absolute sackful........;)

Lots of paper to help him clear up after all those birds?
