Here in The Netherlands we get one vote, and with that vote we finally elect members of the European Parlement.

How many votes you have is up to your countries voting-thingie, but in the end, you'll also be electing members of the European Parlement, or I would be very much mistaken.

Chris 11 Jun 2004 21:38

We had two ballot papers.

On one we picked the one party we wanted to represent us in the EU. And that party chooses who actually goes.

On the other, we pick the three people we want to represent our ward on the local council. We must have got that right as two of the three who got in are both Smart car drivers!!!!

Tonight halifax,

Tomorrow, the world.....
