Cardiff 1993 Sex God In Concert TV Showing

Just got the Sex God in Concert CD from back in 1993 Cardiff. During it Meat talks about how it is being broadcast on BBC1. Does anyone have a recording of the show of TV that theyd be willing trade or lend to me. If so PM me, it would be much appreciated.

I don't think it was either. It was broadcast live on the radio (BBC) and Meat says it in the concert thats when he starts cursing....

That fabulous Cardiff concert from 1993 was never broadcast on TV Chris. It was broadcast live on BBC Radio 1. I remember only too well and will never forget the excitement of tuning into that, especially knowing that I had my ticket to see him shortly after at Wembley! :D

Yes thats right it was on Radio 1 - I have it on tape that I recorded that night, it has a great interview in the middle of the show.
I too was pretty excitted about hearing this as I had tickets to the Manchester show only a few days later.
Best song from this show has got to be All Revved Up With No Place to Go.

During the intro speech to Two Out of Three when he thanks everyone, Meat refers to "everybody here tonight and to everybody listening and to those who aren't here and aren't listening" which again implies radio broadcast only.

Pity. It would have made brilliant TV viewing.

Many thanks, when i heard him mention BBC i immediately thought TV, not really thought radio.

Amazing, and the way meat chokes up at the end lets you know he's being sincere.
