its out today 15th december.i got it from hmv for £16.99,hope this helps. :D

Its exactly the same as the region 1 version (which has been out for about THREE YEARS!!!!!!) except for the cover art & maybe the pic on the disc :(

Should've put something extra on it IMO, anything would've done, they've had three years!

well maybe some of us are just happy to have it released as a region 2 dvd.there is always someone with a complaint.if they put extra stuff on the region 2 version, people would say, thats unfair on people who bought the region 1 version.for gods sakes just be happy for what you have will you.

Deb 16 Dec 2003 09:48

It's £14.99 on www.play.com its a very reliable site and i've brought loads off there this yr, they get the stuff out quick, so still should get in time for xmas.

Plymboy, It is good that Storytellers finally came out on region 2 & people without multi region players can finally get to see it. I'm just disappointed that it doesn't have any extra stuff over the region 1 release, especially after being delayed 2 weeks after its original release date. After waiting 2 extra weeks to find out its the same as the one I've already got was disappointing for me so I vented my frustration on here. Apologies for having high expectations.

It's not uncommon for region 2 DVDs to be better than region 1s these days, with more extras or added DTS sound etc. Therefore it would be nice if a DVD that has been out for 3+ years in America was given some extra stuff in the UK, if it did I wouldn't compain - I'd buy it again! :)

Ditto!!!

I've watched a little bit of it, and it's wonderfully entertaining :-)

Mrs Loaf 29 Dec 2003 19:49

I also have got it, from play.com -cheap! I have written on another post saying I thought the whole thing might have worked even better with a UK audience. (Can't find where I put that post now! :? ) I have been 'singing' it's praises at work today too. :D
