Bit of trivia- did you notice Mark Alexander on piano in the video? I believe he toured with Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul. |
Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, The 12 Pains Of Christmas and The Cheech & Chong Christmas bit. Also the Christmas song written & recorded by CC Coletti. And i love CC's version of Oh Holy Night. Just amazing

Fairytale in New York .. and at the opposite end of the spectrum, O Holy Night; favourite carol, Silent Night, and Once in Royal David's City.
I love Christmas, and really I enjoy most Christmas songs .. the only one that is an excrescence is that awful and utterly ridiculous Blobby thing. Noel Edmonds should be made to spend eternity looking at one of his sweaters and listening to it! |

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the majority of members on this forum dislike the Mr Blobby song somehow. ;) It used to be on the Christmas CD's we'd have on when I worked in Early Learning Centre. The whole CD was pretty bad to begin with but I always had to skip that one. |
Tim Minchin's White Wine In the Sun...
|
When I come to think about it, there's more than I realised
Fairytale of New York Santa Claus is Coming to Town (The Bruce & E Street Version with Clarence's Ho ho ho's) Slade's Merry Christmas Everyone Driving Home For Christmas White Wine In The Sun & E17's Stay - which whilst not a Christmas song per se, was a huge number one at this time of year so counts in my book |
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - The Power of Love
(and 'de Kerstezel' but that's a Dutch song) |
