So a Funny thing Happened Last night...
 

So on April 21st 2013, I had my first Meat and Greet with the man himself, along with my boyfriend Ash and some fantastic people from this forum, after the usual where you from etc etc, he asked how long we'd been together. Upon hearing it had been 2 1/2 years he immediately brought his chair closer and, in the perfect Texas Daddy way, asked Ash why he hadn't given me a ring (At which point every married woman in the room desperately fiddled with their ring fingers! Yes that includes Lucy!)

Obviously this was hilarious but put the fear of God or something similar into him, and during the beautiful Night Glow last night at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta (my favourite place/time in the whole world) He pulled out a gorgeous Ring and asked me to marry him!

I said yes ;)

Thanks Meat for a great story to one day tell our kids and grandkids and also all of you!
