Official Merchandise?

HI Everyone,

Sorry if this has been asked before but wondering how do you know if something is original or not when buying memorbillia of Meat? I am asking this as I keep getting notifications from ebay about some Stamps with Meat Loaf on them and I dont know if they were Legitimate stamps or just someone printing them off they are US stamps and I havn't been able to find anything on the USPS site.

Would appreciate any help would be appreciated in what I need to look for when buying memorbillia, I am starting to collect a few things.

thanks Shay ;)

It is difficult to tell sometimes what's official and what isn't without actually seeing the product, a goood indicator is if you can see the "(C) Neverland Entertainment Inc" statement on it.

Neverland Entertainment is meat's official licensing compnay for merchandise etc.

I've seen the stamps on Ebay before now and they're not official as far as I can tell, I'm sure they're not even actually valid postage stamps, but sometimes the non-official things are noce to have in the collection. End of the day what you want to collect is you call, some of the nicest bits in my collection are not necessarily official items.

What Andy sais is all true, just want to add a small note.

I know in some countries it was possible for people to get customised stamps from their official post office. Customers could bring images for the stamps and receive a few sheets. Thise stamps may be used on letters and packages.

This means they are valid post stamps and unique in their own way. I haven't seen these stamps and I have no clue if they are something like the customised stamps.

But it doesn't make it official merchandise and it depends on how far your collecting hobby goes ;)
