Which Patti song would sound great on a Meat album?

I think all of the fans miss Patti songs on the shows or even on albums. So my question is which Patti song would sound great on a Meat album? As a solo or a duett, whatever.

White of High 15 Dec 2011 13:02

I think 'The Wrong Thing' is a great duet and 'These Arms' is a beautiful ballad. I like Ballerina and Madeline as well but if I had to choice I woul vote the duet and the ballad...

I actually don't know as many of Patti's songs as I would like to :( Is there a place you can find them? I've only managed to find maybe 6 or 7 on YouTube.

Either way. I've always liked Ballerina and These Arms :P

EDIT:

I'd prefer this, though :D

THE wrong thing would make à great duet with Meat Loaf. But i would love to hear Where were you, in my heart, one door opens, feels likeur home.......hhhmmm well I like to hear all of them on à record!!!! LOL

"These Arms" has a bit of a Steinman influence, imo.
I wish Patti would write or co-write a duet for Meat's next album. In addition to being an amazing singer, she is also a very talented songwriter.

The Wrong Thing would make a great duet with Meat.

A solo album would be awesome or at least more songs on iTunes.

Patti could get a bigger audience with Meat on her side than alone. Patti is not 20, nobody will investigate millions of dollars to her...

That's sad but true. I wish more of Patti's songs were available to purchase. I just have two from iTunes.

I think Patti would be the perfect female voice for an album of Steinman songs.

 I don't think anybody needs to invest millions of dollars to make an album for Patti.
Plenty of people (some of them right here on the forum) make great music themselves without going to that kind of expenditure.
I know an album for Patti would be on a rather bigger scale, but I don't think it's something that is beyond her reach.
I dare say she wouldn't be short of friends who would be happy to contribute

I think the big money comes into play when you turn on the whole fame machine and try and turn someone into a global superstar and get them No 1 all over the world.
She doesn't need that IMHO, she just needs a good showcase of her talent available on CD for the fans who want to hear her.

I think it would make successful sales at the mech stand at Meat's concerts (especially if she opened for him again, that was a golden chance gone to waste last time  ) and online.

Although I voted Bible and a Beer because I love that song I dont think any of them would sound great on a Meat Loaf album. They should be on her debut solo album!!!

Bible and a Beer is supposed to be on the live cd that accompanies the dvd. I hope there is a video for the song on the dvd too.

A Slice Of English 19 Dec 2011 23:04

I think Meat has enough decent songs of his own without doing any of Patti's. Patti should have her own album, though and maybe have Meat guest on one of the songs as a duet. I don't know any of her songs except Bible & a Beer, however.
