Meat Loaf Lyrical Tattoos
 

Hi everyone! I searched for something similar, but what I found seemed old, so I started a new topic. If this is in the wrong place then I’m sorry – knowing my luck it probably is :(

For several years I’ve had the idea that I wanted a lyrical tattoo on my forearm, and I wanted that lyric to be from a Meat Loaf song. Since I've turned 18, its become something I've thought about much more than I did previously. I’m struggling to come up with the lyrics which I want to use - just when I find one I love, I find another I love just as much! Anyway, here’s my question:

If you were to have a lyric from a Meat Loaf song tattooed on yourself, which lyric would it be and why?

I hope that I’ll get some inspiration from the replies which might help me to make my decision!

"Push me, Ill Shove" over my butt

If I wanted something meaningful to me rather than comedy/ironic then it'd definitely be something from R&R Dreams - I always loved "the angels had guitars even before they had wings", that's a great lyric.

"Everything Louder Than Everything Else"

Thought for sure it would have been an arched belly tat (over the belly button) of the word "Masculine" or "California" with an arrow pointing you know where.....hmpfh, I was wrong again. :p

That's good, or depending how long of a quote you want, some part of:

"Don't worry about the future, sooner or later it's the past

The first thing that came to my mind was also something from R&R Dreams, like:

"When you really, really need it the most
That's when Rock and Roll Dreams come through"

"I can barley fit my dick in my pants" over my forehead

be sure to spell it correctly ... a permanent spelling mistake wouldn't be so great, especially on your forehead, very noticeable :lol: i'm just kidding you haha :lol:

Or then there is my all time fav, "You're never alone cuz you can put on the phones and let the drummer tell your heart what to do" It would be fitting for me cuz:

1. I played drums for about 10 years and still dabble in it; and
2. It's so true.

Just bought a shirt from .net that has that phrase. Wore it for the first time yesterday and got lots of good comments.:D
