Is anyone else being plaugued by ants????

Our whole street is teeming. Some of the blighters are ruddy big like you usually get on thecontinent in much hotter countries and there's loads of flying ants too.

yes seen a few today when we were on our tea break, :roll: they were quite big and horrible flying everywhere. :(

hahaha, that is normal Sin.... some day the antz will fly out... well some does... and they crash down on the pavement again, or will be eaten by birds...

Mrs Mouse, thanks at least it's not just me :? I think we need a good storm, blow away this horrible sultry atmosphere, might get rid of 'em too

Tim this is far from normal!!!! even for me :wink: i've lived here 14 years and I've never know it like this........ I'm gonna have to get some powder/spray tomorrow. Meanwhile 'm boiling up kettles of water and pouring it over the little blighters

Well, i know it is here every summer.... one day a year, the antz are flying out. Crawling to high points and fly away... then the birds will eat them, or they crash to death... :lol:

WHAT!!!! waste my precious beer :twisted: all sitting there nice and chilled in the fridge. But it's given me an idea.......if I keep drink the beer I wont give a flying fig about the ants flying or not :twisted:

we got lots of those really lil black fly thingys, no ants tho, just lost and lost of flys!! you go outside for 5 mins in a white shirt n u come back in with a black one! :wink:

For little bugs / flies you can use the 2 in 1 cleaner... spray it on the flies / bugs and they will drop out of the air, and you can crush them easily! :lol:

lol we don't hav ants as bad as yours, but my m8 sat on an ants nest *it didn't help he was wearin shorts* :lol:

i sat on a bumble bee once, god that stung!! 8O

i have some spray to spray em but it takes its time to work!

The Flyiing antz are now here... funny to see such huge antz with wings. :lol:

Simple cure for ants.

Get an icing bag, fill it with jam, lay a trail of jam from where the ants congregate across your garden and into the next door neighbours garden (this is probably best doen at night to avoid the funny looks), Then simply sit back and relax!!!!!
