Playing Meat Loaf songs

Hello. I have been playing Ukulele for nearly a year now and have enjoyed it thus far. One of the first songs I learned to play was 'Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through'. That's still one of my favourites to play. I've just learned 'For Crying Out Loud' and know little bits of other songs. I've been going from guitar tabs and finding the corresponding chords on ukulele.

I was wondering if there are others who play Meat Loaf songs on any instrument, especially ukulele. :)

I dont, but I've sung with my best friend colin and good friend lewis who know took the words on guitar and keyboard respectivley:

I have a stange feeling that I've seen that video before. Odd.

I haven't done a recording of RRD. I will likely do some at some point though. :)

You probably have, I know I have. And yes, face-plant is correct.

Two out of three is pretty easy to play on guitar.

Paradise basically has the A chord, mostly, throughout but given the fact it's 8 minutes long it tires you out pretty quickly:D

I've bene thinking about doing an acoustic version of a Sir Loaf for my next album.

Have a few ideas but don't want to give anything away yet.

Took the words and All Revved up are fairly straightforward to knock out a basic rhythm to , once you've got bar chords sussed that is. The first half of For Crying Out Loud is a little more complex ... and Bat is a bitch! My version of Paradise uses D,G,C,F, F#m and a lot of swearing :))

actually for crying out loud isn't too bad at all..again it's just long, i don't think i could sing at the level required and play it at the same time

i have considered your suggestion, but i think it would be inappropriate.

however it is fair to say, bat works better on the uke than the banjo, but i have yet to hear an accordian version
