still no power in most of the city/town

I really hope they find the hundreds still missing in the city. Seeing footage and photos from the destruction and huge buildings which have collapsed I'm actually surprised the death toll isn't in the thousands. Surely it's also going to be a mammoth task fixing the whole city.

The damage is awful. Looks like someone has just gone through and dropped bombs, the city will probably never look the same as it did before the quake.

The aussie womens cricket team's hotel was right near that old Cathedral, they are still at the uni & getting evacuated soon.

They showed this cliff road yesterday. Completely destroyed and filled with boulders. Unbelievable.
