All I can imagine are moldy, disintegrating and unlabeled boxes in a stuffy, dank and damp cellar.

I just never know what I'm going to find on a Wario induced thread. Based on the Lava....I'm going to guess that these vaults are somewhere around Hawaii or the Ring of Fire in general. Possibly needing a golden ring to throw into it as well to unlock the vault.

Sorry but I don't see that. Your talking about the career of a legend. My guess is everything is well organized and in a vault.

Just because we see it that way it doesn't mean that Meat does, or did. Remember the millions of hours of TV that stations threw away because at the time they saw no benefit to keeping it. :shrug:

Got to hope that whatever is stored is stored correctly, film, magnetic tape (video and audio) and some optical media degrades over time, nothing can stop that, although the degradation can be slowed by storing in the correct conditions. A cardboard box in a shed or a loft won't help things stay in top condition, especially if the contents of the media are intended for future use. Personally I hope whatever has been kept has all been transferred to lossless electronic format and is stored in a data centre somewhere for future restoration and possible release, but that's a costly process, so I'm not 100% hopeful.

Also Meat lost a lot of stuff he had during a house move; it's possible that some of the tapes under discussion were included in that?
