Do you think it still exists? Originality

Originality is overated. I'd rather something was good than original.

Depends on your definition of originality. It can mean freshness of aspect, design, interpretation or style, which can still to be found in films and the theatre, some times working better than at others. There's perhaps a tendancy for big money Hollywood blockbusters to be played safe, but there are still creative people working in the business who produce compelling original work or interpretations, and new storylines which deliver something new.
