I will never forget his awesome performance in the Sharpe series as the dangerous Obadiah Hakeswill. RIP Pete, you were an excellent actor.

I'm in shock, he's always been epic and immortal, much like Meat. Rest in Peace Pete :-( You left us much too early.

He was amazing in Brassed Off, I think, the only person to use the F word in the Royal Albert Hall, and get away with it.
Great actor, and only 64!
