:twisted: I never knew that much about the R&RHOF before it was talked about here, and i've got to say it's a load of crap.
The glaring ommissions, and the pop acts they have inducted, it has no credability whatsoever.

I agree, however I still love Alice Cooper. Awesomeness.

I like the guy, he always sounds as if he's drunk but as soon as you hear him you know it's Tom Waits. If he wasn't good or interesting somehow, other artists (incl. Meat) wouldn't bother to cover his songs. Closing Time is one of my favourite albums. :hic::cool:

Dont get me wrong, I like him, he sounds like a drunk bob dylan!! I just dont understand how the RnR hall of fame works. IMO it should be people who have made a difference to music, made something special, something orig.

Nah, I disagree with Waits, he has done some good stuff, but I don't think him to be original or made an impact on the world of Music

I definitely agree with Alice Cooper for the RnR HOF. I think Neil Diamond is super talented, a great musician and song writer. He has made a significant contribution to the music industry. As wonderful as he is, I think putting his music into the category of rock is a stretch. Another reason why I think the whole RnR HOF nomination and induction process is totally screwed up. That's just my opinion

I am a Neil Diamond fan and as pleased as I am that he's got some recognition for his contribution to music I've never thought of his music as being Rock.

It's seems like the Rock and Roll Hall of fame is just a name and it's actually something like the Popular Music Hall of Fame or something like that.

It must have some credibility if people keep wittering on about it :nag:
