AndyK 04 Sep 2010 00:46

Not good news. Hope Pud and his family are all ok.

Monstro 04 Sep 2010 01:20

Nasty, best wishes to the Pud clan

Pudding 04 Sep 2010 06:06

I bet any money that Pud doesn't live in Christchurch ;)

Thanks for all the concern, all the Puds' are quite safe. I did feel it at just after 4:30am and so did most of the South Island, quite exciting really. It's one of the biggest New Zealand has had in quite some time and some experts reckon there's bigger ones to come at any time

I'm all good thanks. I don't live in Christchurch by the way but 5 hours drive south in Dunedin.

Threads merged.

Good to know you're ok Pud

It's good news that no one was killed thank god. But nine people have died in an airplane crash in New Zealand... very tragic stuff indeed.

Cristina 04 Sep 2010 16:45

good to know you're safe

Glad to hear that ... heard about the earthquake right before I fell asleep ... you were the first thing on my mind in the morning:nuts:

I hear that quite a lot

Evil One 05 Sep 2010 13:20

Yes, you spring to mind every time I make my first toilet trip of the day!

AndrewG 05 Sep 2010 13:36

:lmao:

Good to hear everyone was ok.

Surprised to hear that good news about no serious incidents at it being a 7.1. Only earthquake I've ever experienced was a teeny tiny one here in the midlands a few years back which most slept through. But even that was weird I would have to say. Can't imagine what a 7.1 must be like and I don't really want to find out.

That one not only woke me up but also my radiator fell off the wall causing a massive leak.

But its reassuring to hear no one was seriously hurt, or worse, killed. There has been alot of natural disasters lately.

Evil One 05 Sep 2010 14:44

"That's not an earthquake. Now that's an earthquake!"

Yes I know he was Australian!
