Top 20 Live Recordings?

The strange one has done this:
YouTube Video

Which got me thinking. What are your top 20 Meaty live tracks? I think we should only allow a song to appear once, so FCOL and BOOH can't take up most of the spaces.

After some head scratching mine are:

For Crying Out Loud - El Mocambo '77
I'd Do Anything For Love - Hudson Theater '93
All Revved Up - El Mocambo '77
Good Girls Go To Heaven - Live Around The World ??

Two Out Of Three - Wembley '87
Out Of The Frying Pan - MSO '04
Heaven Can Wait - Hudson Theater '93
Bat Out Of Hell - Bad Attitude Live '85
Mercury Blues - MSO '04

Everything Louder - Hudson Theater '93
Modern Girl - Wembley '87
Dead Ringer - Beacon Theater '95
Testify - MSO '04
Blind As A Bat - Norfolk '08

Rock And Roll Dreams - Cardiff '93
I'd Lie For You - TMF Concert '98
You Took The Words - Hammersmith Odeon '78

Comparing my list to your list is unjust.

You tend to look at the soundboards that have been officially released (or radio oriented).

My favorites, as in the video of mine you posted, are abstract.

You tend to dislike recordings that aren't soundboard sourced. I look for the great performance and bearability of the recording.

You look for the great performance, as long as its Soundboard approved.

Dusseldorf 1999, Birmingham 1988, Sheffield 1987, Glasgow 1983, and Hammersmith odeon 1985 may not be soundboard quality but the shows themselves are great and audio is excellent. You can tell whats going on.

Then again, i have a far superior collection of recordings then most on here. and Im also familiar with every show I have.

I made hard choices. Meats been supporting my channel recently and I added the LA from Houston to suffice. Its a great performance, but Midnight from Birmingham 1988 is far superior.

Officially, Like E1 did it, Itd go:
  1. Objects - Hudson Tehater
  2. BOOH - BA Live
  3. FCOL - MSO
  4. Rock & Roll Dreams - Cardiff 1993
  5. CHSIB - MSO
  6. Paradise - MSO
  7. Modern Girl - Wembley 1987
  8. Frying Pan - LATW
  9. 2 outta 3 - Rockpalast 1978
  10. Louder/DRFL medley - Cardiff, 1993
  11. Midnight - Wembley 1987 (alternate version played on radio)
  12. Lemon - Cardiff 1993
  13. All Revved Up - BA Live
  14. Masculine - Live Rehearsal 1993
  15. What you See Is What You Get - LATW / NYC 1995
  16. POTA - BA Live
  17. Blind Before I Stop - Wembley 1987
  18. Jumping the Gun - BA Live
  19. Execution Day - Meltdown 1987
  20. Break It - HCTB Live CD

Wario, that was your most pompous sounding post yet.

I think Wario must have a pretty poor audio setup.

Maybe, but then he has a far superior collection than you have so you know nothing anyway. ;-)

Exactly  (that actually came out a little wrong. I meant I have more love for audience recordings then he does. and with all them included, my collection is broader).

Though im surprised all his favs are official. thats what i was trying to say...

I guessed that but it was funny anyway. ;-)

Are you sure? You don't know the extent of my collection.

There is something to be said for sound quality. Putting a tatty audience recording on the stereo at full whack doesn't have the same effect as the real McCoy or a decent bootleg from a radio broadcast. That said, there's nothing wrong with audience recordings for the sake of curiousity.
