Hi, guys! It's about 11:55 p.m. in California and I've just finished watching the World of Poker Championship on our Travel Channel. Do you remember when Meat was there a few months ago?

Sadly, he did not make the cut-off for the final 6 who played for all the money in this round of the tournament. Don't know exactly where he placed...??

But...he was certainly there and it looked like he was in good form. :D

I have grabbed a few images and very short vids for y'all to enjoy today!

I can't believe this- my husband watched that whole darn thing the other day while I was typing away on the computer and he never mentioned that ML was on it. I knew he had been in the tournament a while back, but I didn't know it was this one! Arg! Another missed opportunity to see Meat in action! :cry: Thank you for posting a few clips- how did you do that? Did you transfer from a VCR or do you have a Tivo or some other digital thing? Far too technical for me! Thanks again! :lol:

Sounds like you're the best poker player here, Asha! You wait for everyone else to be out, then you play it for all it's worth! :wink:

Hey Sherrie, it's not surprising that your hubby didn't notice Meat in the show. He was only there, as you can see, for extremely brief moments. The photos and vids here are actually the ONLY times he was seen during the two hours. :(

But still...it was good to see him here and he seemed to be having a lot of fun--at least, until his luck ran out and he was eliminated from the tournament.

As for getting clips into my computer, I do things the old-fashioned way. This is what I always used to do in my old fandom and its website. I can capture video from my video card straight from a VCR. Then it's just a matter of cleaning it up a bit and making sure it's in the right format and up it goes.

Pretty simple. But the first time I've tried it here. Glad it worked for everyone! :D

Here's to LOTS more great US promotion for Meat, once the tour begins, and CHSIB is released here later in the summer!!
