Why have two of my posts disappeared ?

Last night I posted a message about Prize Fight Lover not being available for download in the Official Website + Free Download thread.

After Meat replied to me, I posted a message thanking him ... and that message disappeared. So I posted a message again today
thanking him for the information and the message disappeared again.

Just out of curiousity, am I doing something wrong ?
I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone, and if I did, I'm truly sorry.

I'm just curious as to why my posts have disappeared.

Thank you

You didnt offend anybody. :-)

But if you look at the first thread discussing Los Angeloser, we ask posts to add to the discussion. If you look at it now, every post by Fire Ball has countless "thanks for posting"/"i agree" replies. To keep control of those (and avoid spamming on the forums) we've started to delete posts that ONLY say "thanks for posting" or "i agree".

If we wouldnt do that, soon the majority of posts on the forum would consist of "thanks for posting Meat".

It's his fanclub, and I'm sure he is aware that people are thankful for him posting ;-)
So this is a step we took to avoid a flood of those kind of posts.

Please undestand

Let me try to rephrase what Radiomaster said ...

Currently, we have too many "Agreed/CHSIB/I think the same/" or similar posts in the very popular threads especially in the HCTB forum. We will, as we see fit, remove some or all of these posts as they add nothing but clutter to these threads.

The "Thank You" messages are certainly fine, especially especially when you put some effort in it and add some content along with it to the current thread.

Having said that, I have reviewed RJ's purging spree and restored a bunch of posts. Hope that helps.

Please note that I cannot possibly comment on the lost or recovered minds around here. :bleh:

Edit: I forgot to add that there's a possibility that we might have a new feature to get rid of the "Thank You" messages in the not so near future. In a nutshell, I have an idea, but not with a very high priority on my todo-list.
