I'd love to hear him try another Tom Waits song. Meat's recording of Martha is one of my favourite things he's ever done.

I read an article in a magazine a few years ago where he said he'd do Total Eclipse Of The Heart one day, I'd love to hear him sing that.

Me too, preferable another song from the Closing Time album. I would also like to hear him sing another Warren Zevon song - Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner, Werewolves of London or Boom Boom Mancini. :cool:

I'd like to see him do some more of his Elvis songs. He did a great job on American trilogy.

TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART would be an excellent one for Meat and CC... if CC comes back....to give CC a chance to have the spotlight for 5 minutes....Patti would be awesome doing it to but she does AFL with Meat...What ya say Meat.......TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART?????? :shock:

I'm sure Meat has also said in interviews that he would never do Total Eclipse as he considers it Bonnie's song. :shrug:

I heared that he wanted to play that song live at some point in his career, never heared rumors concerning recording this song.

I'm fairly certain he already did that one :p

Meat Loaf sung a version of River Deep Mountain High and it was very good but not a studio quality recording, I would like to see this re-vamped and on a future album

Agree with you on that one lorenzoduke. I think Meat puts so much emotion into that one.

The Kursaal Flyers - Little Does She Know. He could ROCK that song. Current version is hilarious, but imagine it "meated up"!

I think Meat would do a good cover of Detroit Rock City by Kiss

Which reminds me ... Patti did an awesome version of TFAWIYTB - would be great if she got a chance to do that one during a Meat concert. Would give him time for some beer/rest/oxygen ;-)

Same here, I loved Meat singing that on the last tour, it would be great if he recorded it, even as a b side to one of the singles.
