its great to be here... just wondering if anyone has the lyrics to because of u' track 9 of 'couldn't have said it better' i've looked everywhere and i can't find it.

just thought i wud slip this in here. when i was in the cue to meet Meat at the virgin mega store, i got talkin to this lady, who was behind me in the cue, about CHSIB and she said that track 9 'because of you' was written by her brother, or sumin like that some sort of family relation. i only got her first name, i think it was maria, never got her last name. i dont know whether its true or not. i just thought i wud say.

testify, i know who you mean, maria runs the stevebalsamo.net fan site, he's the guy who co-wrote b.o.y. she's a great gal. Steve is a good friend of hers & he's ok too!

she was a great lass to talk to.

8O Ooh, that was me in the queue at the Virgin Megastore! I feel kinda famous now - thanx!!! And hello there fellow queuer - it was great to chat!

The guy who wrote Because of You (as my learned friend Flower said - thanx for saying nice things, cheque in the post!) is called Steve Balsamo. He's an artist in his own right and a cool mate. I run a website for him at www.stevebalsamo.net. He's got a great singing voice of his own and I chatted to Meat about him and he was very complimentary. It's nice to think the cool people here who obviously have good musical tastes ('cos you all love Meat) like Steve's song too. :D

I shall be seeing Meat in Plymouth in July (thanx for come way out west Mr Loaf, not many do but it's getting better!) and again at Wembley in November. Can't wait, ROCK ON guys!
