If you have a second chance I would take it. Second chances dont happen too often especially if you really want to do it. It is a very good job that you are doing with nursing. I had a second chance and went for it and I am so happy that I did. I love my job more because of it. Go for it and be happy in what you do.

How are you going to feel when the 3 years are over. If you didn't do it then you may be dissapointed and wish that you had done it. If you do do it then there will be no regrets (Unless you find, in the near future, that that career path is not for you).

Better to regret what you've done than regret what you've not done ...

Go for the nursing ~ that way if it's not for you, you always have the nursery nurse training to fall back on ~ smiles.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

If you have a full nursing qualification you can get a job anywhere, here in New Zealand they hire British nurses. Not much call for a nursery nurses, pretty much a dead end job really, not much room to expand your knowledge.

But bear in mind that nursing is a ~~~~~~~ of a job. You'll be constantly knackered and overworked. My ex was a newly qualified nurse and I could see the effect it had on her.

When you're newly qualified in most jobs you get the shit end of the stick until the next newby turns up. After a while you won't be newly qualified and can broaden your horizons, maybe move into private hospitals.
