Meat, the Star Wars fan?

Found here

A Galaxy Far Far Away: 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition" on DVD!

A little over three decades ago, Star Wars - the first entry in an epic franchise envisioned by George Lucas -- premiered at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles. Few could have imagined the long-lasting impact it would have on worldwide pop culture that exists to this day. As of 2008, the six films alone have generated over $4.3 billion, making Star Wars one of the most successful franchises in entertainment history. Add to that the countless thousands of licensed products, and you have a powerful phenomenon that has captivated millions across the globe. And that’s only part of the story....

In 1999, as fanatics eagerly anticipated the release of Episode I, The Phantom Menace, director Tariq Jalil decided to explore this cross-generational phenomenon, so he turned his camera on the fans and the franchise like never before. Called "incredibly clever" by Film Threat, A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY shed light, for the first time into how Star Wars struck such a mysterious and powerful chord across all races, genders, and generations. And this March, Cinevolve Studios commemorates this crowd-pleasing documentary with A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY: 10TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTOR’S EDITION.

Special Features:
Hilarious Deleted Scenes, Both Original and All-New Audio Commentary, Special 10th Anniversary Interviews and MST3K-Style Video Commentary with the Creators!

Featured Interviews Include Samuel L. Jackson, Joe Pesci, Roger Corman, Meat Loaf, Dennis Franz, Andy Garcia, Jimmy Kimmel, David Prowse (Darth Vader), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Anthony Daniels (C3-PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and More!

They caught him on a golf course and he said one or two sentences about Star Wars. There's also a clip that wasn't included in the actual documentary that shows how a rather skinny Meat Loaf is raiding a barbecue (now I know why he put on weight again, LOL). All in all less than one minute of footage, I don't know if that new DVD contains more.

You don't have to be involved to have an opinion. I'm fairly certain Joe Pesci and Jimmy Kimmel had sod all to do with Star Wars.

I thought Jimmy Kimmel was that thing Han Solo shot in the bar on tatooine...

Pudding 23 Apr 2009 09:48

That's probably wishful thinking :)) I wonder how many people for a brief moment had Meat as Jabba? C'mon be honest, I know it crossed a few peoples minds.

The difference between the men in the relationship and out of the relationship is very minimal...those in the relationship learned to insert at some inappropriate random times "yes, dear" in their conversations with their significant, as well as insignificant, others...

it's that old line of a woman marries a man and gets him to change the way he used to behave as a single man, he changes his appearance, his attitude, until finally the wife can't take it any more and says she's wants a divorce, because "he's not the man i married"

RadioMaster 25 Apr 2009 08:47

are we still talking about star wars?
