Meat loaf's age
 

I know this may sound like an easy question, but when was meat loaf born? I always thought it was 1947 by in an interview he said 1951 and that he was tryig to maintain a lie by putting 1947 in his autobiography. Can anyone help??

But how do you know the year for sure? And if he is born in 1947 I'll guess he must be 61, turning 62 in september...? We're in 2009 now.

Personally I have been hoping that its 1951, because then he is a few years younger, and maybe he will be performing even longer... ;)

You missed the point that being born in 1947 and being 60 years old in 2009 don't add up. :nope:

If 1947 is correct he's 61; if 60 is correct he was born in 1948.

In 1995, he handed his passport to someone who was interviewing him for VH1 Germany. According to that passport he was born in 1951.

As far as I know he, in fact, was born in 1947...apparently there was a mistake made in his passport at some point...he was born in 1947 until he hit 50 or something...then he rewinded his age a bit...

Emma, put down that shovel and pick up a calculator ;-). 1947 + 61 = 2008, and last time I looked it was 2009.

Barring Meat being a time traveller (and I don't think he's the next Dr Who), either the birth year is wrong or the age is wrong. The can't both be correct, regardless of what his profile says.

Why did he use to yell "I'm f*cking 60 years old" at his concerts last year? He obviously cares a lot about his age. ;)

He mentions his (alleged) age noticeable often, do you think that's normal? Do you know any other "old" rockstar who does this? He apparantly wants to make people believe that he's older than he actually is.
