MEAT LOAF V JIM STEINMAN
 
i been searching the net , reading up on jim life , the bit that got me was , when meat said that jim was to ill to do bat 3 , cos he had some small strokes , and a heart attack . so thats why desmond child was brought in to do bat 3 , but jim agent / manger said . jim is in fine health . to do bat 3 , what meat loaf is talking about , jimmy health was bad 4 years before, bat 3 was being made , some one show some light on this matter :roll::roll::roll::roll:

Jim was ill at the very beginning of the project with all those ailments you mentioned and then started slowly getting better. Not quick enough apparently, as Jim wanted to take a bit more time than Meat to do the album. Meat wanted to forge ahead, Jim didn't, Jim lost interest, Meat didn't and drafted Desmond Child to produce Bat3. By the time Desmond Child's Bat3 was finished Jim was in fine health.

I think the fact Meats apologised for being impatient and not waiting for Jim answers a lot of questions.
