Hi,

I was looking at tickets this morning for the Excel, and I came across this. I was most angry that our hero has been ridiculed like this:

Should someone let Meat know he needs to be in London on October 27th?! :lol:

It was there this morning, but not now.

I got the link from a ticket site that advertises gigs going on sale www.gettothefront.com

I smell hoax squared...

Nobody selling tickets would degrade the artist or his/her fans like that as it won't make people buy from them and so like Neil and Zina I also smell a hoax.
Also Meat is touring in the US in October so this is clearly not worth any sweat over.

Yeah crazy assed hoax. Some have too much time on their hands.

If Meat was playing Excel on that day, I'd be there no matter how much the ticketing agency would slag off the artist! But doors open 14.00, show starts 18.00, seems rather unlikely. :))

I somehow can't see this happening at all! - why do something like that anyway??

Mind you though, it could be a site pretending to act like See Tickets, you know, one of those spoof sites that end up on Watchdog after a while....:?

Seriously its not a hoax...this site was live this morning, and if it hadnt taken FOUR HOURS to validate my membership to post on here, then you'd all have seen it.

I took a screenshot as it was obviously not going to hang around for long.

I really dont have the time or the energy to 'hoax' anything.

I don't think anyone's suggesting that you 'created' the hoax, more that you've viewed someone else's hoax...

It was definitely a legit site and link, I work in IT and it was obviously someone working at SEE having a laugh.

Not funny though.

Yeah, well...with this said...major corporation recently...no names but I've seen it myself and will testify that this story is legit...sent out to all their employees (we are talking thousands and thousands) letter from their President...once opened...it was an ad on Craig's list for a house...LOL...

I wonder what happened to that person who was in charge of updating website...

It was definitely a genuine listing on Seetickets. I saw the gig flagged up on gettothefront.com this morning, followed the link to the Seetickets website and there it was.

Sorry but I happen to know that Meat isn't even in the UK in October as he will be doing some shows over in the US, also looking at it closely they have misspelled the venue name as Helen has pointed out and as Andrew pointed out before that the time of the concert is all wrong, I have never attended a Meat concert that started at 6PM :wtf: !!!
Also degrading his fans and the performer is hardly proffessional, emo.

Personally i obviously care less than some of these others who are arguing back with reasons, i dont need reasons to know its dumb, and simply aint true. I aint buying no tickets and i aint gonna be at the venue either and will probably as a result have as much chance of seeing him perform as everyone else within a hundred mile radius :roll:

Most people from here who were at the excel in aug to see him joined the mailing list....funny that no one else saw it too

All seems just like a total waste of time..

Hope Meat and the band know they have a 11am Sound Check and a Meet N greet in the morning as well in a place that does not exist. LMFAO.
