odd sound in DIST
Does anyone else notice an odd car alarm sound in Did I Say That, right between the first chorus and "I know sometimes I overreact"? The first two or three times I listened to the record I shut my CD off for a moment because I thought there was an alarm going off. Am I the only one to notice this, or just the only one odd enough to ask about it?

Yeah i've noticed it. At first i thought it was a mobile phone or something.

Hmmm! I had my album on today and grabbed my phone because I thought I had a text message in the middle of one of the songs....wonder if it was that?!

Well, i've listened to it about 3 times over, and i just cant hear anything...'cept the song....

It should either be a prolonged high note from the Hammond, or the distortion on the vocals. Couldn't hear anything alarm-like.

Your post made me listen - turned down bass and turned treble up - at 1min 12sec to 1min 15sec there is something there - I thought it sounded like a voice :!: Maybe its Satan - if look around the posts your'll know what I mean

Ok, listen to when he first says "Did I say that?" (1min 4secs) And you hear a beat that echoes, the echoes continue but you cant hear them as they in harmony with the words. The point you refer to is this continuing beat, it raises and falls in pitch as it goes along and then stops at 1min 26secs. Or am I listening to something else?

I first hear it at 1:13, it sounds like 4 or 5 echoing alarms from a car security system. I can't NOT hear it- it seems really obvious to me for some reason.

Original Sin, what's a "wobble board"?
