Depending on who's selling I've seen these on ebay on a buy it now for over £100, needless to say it didn't sell. They usually go for between £7 and £15 on auction on average but I have seen them go for less. Usual rules apply, it'll only sell for more if two people want it. Although not common I've seen quite a few of these on ebay so they're by no means the rarest, for rarity you're looking at Popcorn Blizzard stuff or the holy grail (Couldn't Have Said It Better LP).

The Flying Mouse 14 Jul 2008 22:18

 It's four studio tracks taken from the Bat/Dead Ringer albums.

If memory serves correct it's.............

2 Out Of 3.
Took The Words.
Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us.
Dead Ringer For Love.

It isn't "mega rare" and i'm sure Meat himself has a copy :lmao:

Auction links are deleted as a matter of routine.

Oh well. Still, it is the first time I noticed a link being removed, after seeing tons of them (bloodrayne shirt, CHSIB LP, Testify promo thingy, Bat III promo, lots of 'em)

Pudding 15 Jul 2008 10:40

I guess there's a first time for everything....eventually

it could also be that these were posted for discussion rather than the seller posting the link to promote their own sale?

 See, someone has the idea

The reason we have a rule of no linking to auctions is because if everybody was allowed to post everything they were selling on e bay nobody would have to look on e bay ever again and this forum would be full to the rafters in spam. :panic:

We don't look too badly on people posting links to auctions to items they think are of particular interest or relevance to a thread.
I think the Bloodrayne shirt was a very interesting piece, as is the vinyl copy of CHSIB.
There's a difference in posting a link for a reason and spaming the board.
That's where we try to maintain a sensible balance.

However, if you do feel that strong about links, I could always suggest to the staff we tighten up on link posting
If you feel THAT strongly about it that is.

Another thing, if this is the first time you have seen an auction link deleted, that's probably down to the fact that threads containing links have been deleted by various mods in the past before you've even had a chance to see them.
Don't assume that something hasn't happened before just because you didn't know about it
