A PRE-SCHOOL TEST FOR YOU

Which way is the bus below traveling?
To the left or to the right

http://media.mlxxfc.net/bus.jpg

Can't make up your mind?
Look carefully at the picture again.

Still don't know?

Pre-schoolers were shown this picture and asked the same question.
90% of the pre-schooler's gave the correct answer and not just an answer but their reasoning behind it.

Try your hand in this - please give your answer and the reasoning behind it.

Whoever has seen this before...please give others a chance to guess.

I will post an answer pre-schoolers gave in a day or so...

I take it the test is American? Therefor I would say it's travelling from the right to the left, because buses in America buses have a door on the right and you can't see it and it's not often you see buses reversing.

Do I win a lolly?

Pud

would have been my guess as well.

djfierce 04 Oct 2007 13:17

would have said the same but didn't think about the door bit

Pud and 90% of pre-schoolers win!!!

But don't feel bad...somehow I am not surprised at this mix...most of the adults don't get this...

Blackkat13 04 Oct 2007 20:21

I think left and I think your right never would have thought about the door

Actually, after getting upset that neither I, nor anybody I know outside this site could get the answer right and, in fact, this came to me from Canada...I just marveled how child's mind work and how complicated and jaded we become as we become adults...

So, yes, you do have an advantage...

RadioMaster 04 Oct 2007 22:47

so basically youre saying pud has the mind of a 3 year old? :lmao:

I know...and even more fun would be if YOU called him that...why don't you go ahead, eh?

RadioMaster 04 Oct 2007 22:53

PUDDING, YOU HAVE THE MIND OF A THREE YEAR OLD!

Pudding 05 Oct 2007 05:45

And what, you're jealous because I'm mentally more advanced than you? :lmao:

Adults look for complicated answers to simple questions, children can only see simple solutions regardless if the problem is complicated or not. The answers to most things and life ARE simple if you want them to be ;)
