Are any MLUKFCers affected by this?

Did it rain a bit then?

Where i live we had a storm but no torrential rain like other parts of Kent had especially on the coast

Lovely in London!!

Here in Cambridgeshire we've had heavy rain, every day for at least a week, and while there have been places in the region with bad floods, my house is at the top of a hill, so I'm fine!!

Lets put it this way - if Mid Kent Water impose a hose-pipe ban like we've had for the past two summers, I think they may be in danger of being lynched! The places affected here in Kent were very localised.

We have had a lot of rain in Bedford but we are on a slight hill where I live so no flood.

I love how the flooding really hits the news once the south is affected - half the trains up here ran late or were cancelled last week as the lines were flooded but no-one seemed to be bothered :p

Dif character of person up t'north you know, down here they get a dusting of icing sugar and they call it snow and you'd think the world had come to a stop!!!

And we are the centre of the universe down here you know!!!

That actually does really p*** me off...I live in County Durham, at the top of a hill, and when it snows here it really snows - I've known us be stuck inthe village because we can't get cars or buses up and down the hill due to snow - first snowflake falls in the south and it's the new ice age

Excuse me!! Our trip to Manchester was the furthest north you've been for 18 months!!

Look on the bright side, while the soft southern shandy drinkers are worrying about some snow or rain falling in Lahndehn, they're not thinking about banning whippets, flat caps or clogs :lmao:

Yep, don't I know it. I had a driving lesson in it. It kept starting and stopping. :evil:

My sympathies to those who were affected and I hope nobody was...but those who were...hope it wasn't bad...we had some BAD disasters here...so we know all about THAT...

On the other hand, our President does everything that apparently God tells him to do...no wonder we're so severely tested and punished...

Plenty of Floods in Northen Ireland, Governments offered 1k per household effected
