MLUKFC Camping trip??

With the hot summer approaching, and still no sign of having a Meat Loaf convention, what about having our own little camping trip??

Dunno when, where, how, why, or what....but that is why this thread is here.

If anyones interested say so, and we can work out where would be best for everyone, when (which month, how many days, which days...weekend/weekdays etc...).

What do you think?? :D

JanT 03 Jun 2007 19:29

In theory it's a brilliant idea. Would be interested, depending on when and where.

Theres so many great spots in the country....it's just finding somewhere easy for everyone.

I would like somewhere by the sea....just as my two cents!

I know the coast will be difficult to get to for some people, but what you rek?

JanT 03 Jun 2007 19:34

Well by the sea suits me fine, I live at Blackpool.

There are some decent camp sites over here.

Heli 03 Jun 2007 19:36

Blackpool sounds very good to me! Do you know of many nice camping sites around there??

JanT 03 Jun 2007 19:44

I know a man who does :D I'll phone him now.

RadioMaster 03 Jun 2007 20:12

i actually thought about connecting this to the nov show in wembley. but camping in nov might be a little hard to do. lol

In theory I'm up for it
(must be in aug or sept for me)

Heli 03 Jun 2007 20:14

August is good for me...althought early mid august....i'm busy in liverpool at the end of that month!

MeatGrl1 03 Jun 2007 20:23

One slight prolem... I do not do camping  !!

I need a steady bed and a bathroom !

Heli 03 Jun 2007 20:29

They'll be bathrooms; no weeing in the bushes, and they have showers etc.

But as for a bed, you can get those fantsatic blow up beds now which are better than real beds! :P

Oh come on, it'll be a laugh!

SamCat 03 Jun 2007 20:30

Me too!! Unless its got ***s i dont go and i dont do caravans either!!!

JanT 03 Jun 2007 20:34

Windy Harbour Holiday Centre

They have disabled facilities and Rally Rates for Group Bookings.

MeatGrl1 03 Jun 2007 20:38

SamCat 03 Jun 2007 20:39

:lmao: I wasn't implying you were Emma, I'm just thinking of folk less fortunate than ourselves and considering that not every member of the MLUKFC might be able bodied.

JanT 03 Jun 2007 20:45

Yeah, and if you listen really early in the morning it sounds like it's raining on one side. Sounds like a really heavily concentrated downpour. Only lasts a couple of minutes though then stops.

Monstro 03 Jun 2007 20:58

The post your thoughts thread's got a lot to answer for!!!!!

RadioMaster 03 Jun 2007 21:04

the more i think about it, the better it sounds....
that sounds like a really nice idea
(am I repeating myself?)

Heli 03 Jun 2007 21:07

I've been trying to think up activites to do! It's gonna be great! New one which I'm definitely gonna try and sort out is a scavanger hunt! We did it at the last Queen convention with hysterical results!

Water fights, drinking games, scavanger hunt, twister tornements......other games that can be done outside.....football, rounders.....whatever anyone fancies really!

RadioMaster 03 Jun 2007 21:09

how about an outdoor karaoke? :lmao:
