CC leaves the band
 

Hope it's ok to post this here. CC has just announced on her Facebook page that she will not be joining Meat on the upcoming UK tour, as she's going to concentrate on her own career.

All the best to CC, but the show will still be cracking even if Meat does not replace her. When Meat only had Patti as the sole female singer in the band, the shows were always excellent still. :D

Explains why she wasnt on Leno. Hope thats not the case for Dave Luther

Thank god Patti is still in the band. Like 1993 she can do it on her own. She is amazing!

Good luck for CC and her carreer.

It's a shame she won't be doing the UK shows as I think her and Patti are the best backing singers Meat has ever had.

It's always sad to see when someone leaves the NLE, especially more so when it's this close to a leg of a tour starting.

We wish you well in the future CC, and thank you for the years in the past.

It's sad, but it's not a major loss and nor is it the end of the world. The question is: will she be replaced, or will they carry on without? :sherlock:

HHHHMMMM We need Sherlok Holmes for that. I think they are gonna perform just with Patti or...........will Pearl have her come back in The Neverland Express????!!!

It would be unlikely, now that she is getting successful in her own right.

That B ashame first we lose Aspen then well lose CC what ever could happen next, CC as meat said was ever boys girl next door.... Im gonna miss her. :-( all the best CC

omg i am so sad i love cc she is amazing girl and singer and she has the voce of a rock chick and from watching the paradise doc she has a gud personalty to . nle wont be the same now now that kasiam and mark has gone and now cc i dont think the uk tour will be the same but i will still be going to the manchester gig

To be honest, I think CC's role in the band has always been completely unnecessary. There is no need to replace her. Patti and 4 of the guys already sing backup. The rest of the band can get a raise now.

That said, CC is a nice lady and I wish her the best with her solo career.

I agree Smithie, Patti's so strong that the role of second female backing singer just isn't needed, regardless of who's in that role. CC's been amazing, and Pearl was great too back on VBO/Storytellers tour, but they were great in roles that weren't needed. I'll miss CC but I really hope she gets the chance to shine now.

:twisted: Sad to hear CC has left the band, but you can't blame her for wanting to take her own shot.

As for what's next, as long as Meat doesn't take inspiration from the RHS and have Wario in front of the stage miming to Meat's performance, then it can't be too bad.

Yea it is a real shame CC has left, i really liked her as a person and as a singer. I wish her every success in the future, she deserves it !
