You could alternate between;
Bad Attitude
Meat Loaf Live
Melt Down &
Storytellers

These are accessible... Well actually BA and Melt Down are hard to find but you could alternate with these as to get variety. I love MSO as much as the next person but I also love the others too:)).

Brilliant !

TravisWRedfish 05 Dec 2006 20:45

Actually I also have and love the Storytellers DVD. My other favorite Meat DVD is "Classic Albums - Meat Loaf: Bat out of Hell". I don't think the others you mentioned have been released here in the U.S. However, as far as a complete concert goes, only the Melbourne Symphony DVD qualifies as a complete concert by Meat to be released on DVD in the U.S. Storytellers was more a live documentary, recapping Meat's songs, but done informally in front of an audience where Meat answers questions. As great as this show is, it's still not a complete Meat concert on DVD...How can it be that Meat has only released 1 complete concert of his to DVD in the U.S.? I think it's about time for another one, don't you all agree? :)

I believe only storytellers from that list is on dvd, as far as dvd's are concerned the only one's i have are Storytellers and MSO, and now bad attitude which somebody very kindly copied for me as i dont have a vcr. If the meat loaf live is the one i think you're on about the it doesn't count, if not then my apologies ;)

RadioMaster 05 Dec 2006 21:27

what is the "melt down" concert? havent heard of it...

Two other things flying around, which someone VERY kind copied me onto dvd :)) (thanks again:up:), are the live in mexico 2003 show, and, my personal favourite, the 1993 MTV concert "the history of Meat Loaf". Thatīs the one also used for the bat2 picture show.

Caelan 05 Dec 2006 21:28

I wouldn't mind some new material to look at..

RadioMaster 05 Dec 2006 21:29

well, the two songs I just NEED on a professional produced DVD are BAAB and objects! Please!

LucyK! 05 Dec 2006 21:31

I presume you mean you want those tracks live on DVD, given that the Objects video is on the re-released Bat II...

live please

RadioMaster 05 Dec 2006 21:37

yep, I was talking about LIVE performances.
The emotionality on the live version on LATW is already great, must be terrific if you SEE the performance too.
(one of the reasons I chose to go to wembley next year:)))

Bart 06 Dec 2006 14:50

wAHT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THE vIENAA VID?

gONNA LOVE HER FOR BOTH OF US IS AWESOME (DAMN CAPSLOCK)

meatrocks1 10 Dec 2006 18:10

i wish i wish i wish upon a star that MEAT would release some dvd's...my MSO and STORYTELLERS are starting to burn holes in it...lol...in my opinion the MSO is a big hit with alot of fans....i haven't heard of one person saying anything a negative about MSO...i think if MEAT was to put a few more dvd's out there they sell reallllllly big.....i personally would have loved to of seen a box set released for christmas......like a 2 or 3 dvd box set of various clips of concerts over the yrs.....etc....what ya think MEAT???? i personally think with the younger new fans discovering MEAT will find these items in the stores along with the music cd's will bring more fans in as they tell their buddies all about MEAT...etc....and MEAT"S legend will never end ever.....but thats just my 2 cents... SO how about it MEAT ...how about a box set or even seperate dvd's for us hungry fans....

Blackkat13 11 Dec 2006 05:31

I would love to have few more ml concerts on dvd....I hope they put out a Bat 3 Live DVD and wish ML Live was on DVD.....wonder about Bad Attitude Live if that is any good. Seen some clips on youtube thought the blonde in paradise was well.....didn't like her sing to much

OK NO NEED TO SHOUT DUDE :lmao:!!!

I did not know this existed, any idea where I might be able to get my hands on it?

AndyK 11 Dec 2006 20:49

Ahem ... remember no bootleg trading please ...

RSG 11 Dec 2006 22:21

I like the idea of more Meat DVDs. Perhaps a 2DVD case of one Meat Loaf concert from 80's, and one from 90s or something? That would be cool, and on the boxset would be a rare 70's gig ;)

greg 14 Dec 2006 09:05

dvd for tour

do we know if there will be any dvd made for this tour

L96 14 Dec 2006 09:39

Fanfire says NO, but then they are not exactly renowned for their accuracy in information gathering and sharing.

AndrewG 14 Dec 2006 10:22

Why is it up to Fanfire if a DVD is made? Surely that's up to Meat, his management and the record company?

AndyK 14 Dec 2006 11:06

Duplicate of thread in general messages. Merged.

rick 14 Dec 2006 11:44

imo i would wait to see what developes with meat and jim and the possible future project.
Im sure that there might be somthing along the lines of a new enhanced cd/dvd with the proposed project that would include bat III footage

It should be, yeah, but Fanfire are the ones sending out the artist update emails, (as far as I'm aware), and that's where the "there will be no DVD" line comes from.

Wasn't that regarding the original talk of one of the October/November shows being recorded though? Originally Meat had said in interviews that the RAH show was to be recorded, then that idea was scrapped.

RadioMaster 14 Dec 2006 21:40

is there any official word?

riffer 25 Dec 2006 00:18

Hey guys,

Yeah another live dvd would be great, I just love the MSO one!

Lord Kagan 26 Dec 2006 22:57

Yup, Would be a good vid, MSO is an excellent live show so another if done in the same way should be great!

And welcome to the site riffer :D

TravisWRedfish 03 Jan 2007 20:15

I think he needs to put a Royal Albert Hall show on DVD, complete with a symphony orchestra...It would be another great spectacle!

PanicLord 03 Jan 2007 20:48

Yes - the recent RAH show was spellbinding - even better than MSO! A DVD or at least a CD is a MUST!

Wario 06 Jan 2007 04:25

The songs are great to watch. Have the Lost Boys Tour?

Set List:
"Bob" speech
Fryingpan
Took the Words
Masculine
Let the Rebels Begin
Bad For Good
Modern Girl
Who Neds the Young?
Dance in My Pants
Peel Out (Instr.)
I'm gonna love her for Both Of Us
Special Girl
Burning Down
Lost Boys and Golden Girls
Bat Out Of hell
Two Out Of Three
Deadringer
Midnight
Paradise
Rock Medley (Johnny B. Goode, Jail house Rock, Slow Down, Hound Dog, Louie Louie, Roll Over Beethoven, Johnny B. Goode - Reprise)

I have it on CD, but is there a recording of it on Video?

Wario 06 Jan 2007 15:49

OH, and I forgot Original Sin!

duke knooby 28 Jan 2007 00:43

meat has done many many many many many many many shows better than the mso one, some of the older stuff from 87 to 94 would be great to see.

meatloaf-unofficial 28 Jan 2007 19:55

They were going to record the NYC show but they decided to prospone the recording till the tour as they wanted more seats sold - I think. Well thats what they said when they annoinced more seats available. The dvd setup recording thing took to much room so they will wait til the tour.

Hope that makes sence!

AndyK 28 Jan 2007 21:04

That's sort of right Ross.

They added extra seats at NYC as a result of cancelling the DVD filming. The cancellation of the DVD filming didn't occur as a result of wanting to sell more seats ... my guess is that the added pressure of a dvd filming was deemed to much to such a high profile show.

THink a lot of people know that.. but.. as AndyK says... not talking about it hahah.

But a new concert on DVD would be really nice. Still love the Melbourne DVD.
