The new Meat Loaf official site has just posted out their first edition of the news letter that you would have subscribed to if you joined the community. It lets you download one full song of the new album - "Testify". So check your e-mails and hopefully the dispointment of the delay for UK fans will be made a little better by this track

Testify is a brilliant song!!
Think it's fantastic we can listen to it!!!

The interview(s) are really interesting, specially the part where Meat tells where he gets his energy from. He tells he can give a show in front of 4 living trees or a stadion and it would be the same show. Think it's great, really believe he could too!

I checked almost all the local record stores here in my town and they do not have CHSIB this Monday!! Cause they get never supplied on Mondays! They all think they will have at Tuesday or even Wednesday! For me it is a little disaster! i took the day off for coming Monday, what the hell am i going to do now!!!!

Testify kinda is a gospel like song. Quite surprising I'd say. Takes a few listens but it's a fun song. Different nonetheless :)

I haven't listened to all of the interview clips yet... but I thought the one about his energy was very interesting too. I'm with you .. I believe he could too !

I have the same problem. It doesn't help to order the CD online, because then I will also have it tuesday.

This is very very strange. This did not happen before with other albums. Bat 2 was also released on an Monday and they had it in the shop on that day. So tomorrow i have a day off and maybe als on Tuesday, but it is not sure if they have it on Tuesday!!!!

We've been waiting since the funhouse rumours, then they announced the album Testify to be released in march 2002 and now 1 year later it will be finally released. Surely you can wait one more ickle day? :wink:

Every time I try to download song samples from the meatloaf.de site the same song plays in a continuous loop on my computer- a great song, but for some reason I can't seem to listen to anything else or watch the videos. Is anyone else having this problem, or am I having some sort of computer related brain cramp? While I'm at it, which song is this that I am hearing over and over:

"I will guide you all the way..."
"I see the angels..."
"I step in the door and I stare at your face..."
"Keep your mouth shut, 'cos it doesn't really matter tonight....."

It sounds like Meat and Patti- which song is this?

All of us poor saps in the US have MONTHS to wait for the new album!! Have any fellow Americans ordered from overseas Amazons? What sort of shipping cost was it?

Hi Sherri :)

I'm in the US, and have ordered the CD directly from Amazon.com.uk. It says that it'll be shipped in 1-2 weeks (which is still better than having to wait until August !), and the total cost, including shipping is approx. $18.

The clip you're talking about is from Couldn't Have Said It Better ... I've only heard parts of it, but it's one of the most amazing things I've ever heard :)) If you want to turn it off when you're on the site, click on the small orange box, which looks like part of a media player, on the top right hand corner of the page.

Thanks for the info- the amazon.com.uk disc certainly is worth the cost- I thought it would be upwards of $50 or something! OK, I'm on my way to Amazon UK.

You know I had the same problem at the German site as Sherrie did. So, thank you for asking! I had found 'a way' to listen/watch but it was very complicated!
