Seeing that many of us want him to do more shows, I say let's raise some hard cash to get him over here for an all exclusive MLUKFC show! :D

Well you can kinda work out what price range we would be looking at. Liverpool: 4800 people, around £40 a ticket. Subtract venue cost, ticketing company cost......

they updated the site..but not meats part..

Hmm cheaper option.....hire out a farmers field, open back truck, couple of generators, pitch a couple of tents (for meat and backstage lounge) and about 20 diposable bbq's and were sorted!!!!!!!!!!....ooohh and some crates of alcohol...............the most perfect evening, Meat playing as the sun sets, what do'ya rekon??!!!!............

How many members are there?? maybe all put in a certain amount of money each depending on how many of us there are and submit it to Meat.

What about a Meat Loaf festival? Lots of tribute bands playing songs from the entire back catalogue (+ jim steinman stuff) and then keeping 2 hours of the gems (Paradise, Bat etc) for main man himself at the climax of the show.

That sounds good! Like a meat loaf convention with an appearance from the main man himself, and maybe something along the lines of storytellers, where we can ask questions too.......

One hour and 45 minutes you know what the man said he's not allowed to play longer, but i'll settle for a 2 hrs BBQ though!!

We'll keep those damn insurance people out don't worry.

I very nearly filled in the form! But don't think they'd take me seriously as I was gonna put in a budget of £5! :lol: They'd probably ban me from hiring Meat again!!!!!

But seriously folks, if we got our 'heads' together, we could pull off the greatest gig in the world. :D ....Even plan it for a year ahead, what a farewell party it would turn out to be for the fanclub!!!!
Even if we got tribute acts on all night. It would be a fantastic gig!.....and I'm sure Meat may want to say a farewell too?!..........

royal albert hall = 60,000 + @£40 =£320,000 over 3 nights £960,000 think it could be just possible would be enormous so lets hope fire ball is looking in to guide us 2 1/2 hour set with 35 mins q & a sech would keep everyone happy if only this could be true im getting goosebumps just imagining it :pray: :pray: :pray: :hic: :hic: :arrow: :cool:

think it is a good idea. On a central place, near london or something, not the USA haha. A Meat Loaf weekend or day, with Meat Loaf as a guest and doing a little show. I'm willing to pay for that!! And offcourse, no riddicioulus prices to see him or for a meet and great... it is all included. I like the idea, but wonder if it really gonna happen.

What we should all do is organise something...plann everything then use all our connections to advertise it, raise money for it, get travel/accomadation sorted.

If we all put our heads together, surely we can get something done!

I'm with you all on this, surely we can do it, if we really put our minds to it.
I'm willing to pay whatever we have to, it will be so worth it and real teamwork, what other fanclub is willing to 'knuckle' together to do something like this? This is a real community spirit and I'm sure will bring us all the more together.......

Before we fill in the form, is it an idea to first find out how many members on here are willing to pay for this to happen? even find out how much theyre willing to go up to? Surely we have to cover overheads? Am I barking up the right tree?! do'ya rekon??!!:D
What do you think if the Mods could put a survey or notice to everyone on the home page? asking if they are willing to go ahead with this and be committed to it? (surely we need to know this before we book Meat?!! if not, I'll invite him for tea round my place!!! :D ) and also shall we draw up a list of likely venues/places for this to happen?

Just some ideas here, anybody feel free to add their say so and if they agree with the above?!

Don't know meats email (wish I did!!! :lol: ) but I pm'd him a month or so back and requested a reciept to see if he had read it but its still to no avail.
But is their anybody in the know of how to contact him to see how much he charges?

found several pages for booking Meat but..don't know if that works..

just post all of them i guess..or call them..whished there was an option to arange it without them..just to go directly to the man himself..but don't think thats gonna work..trying to find out how they did that at the rockfestival in Holland;)

maybe it is an idea to make a form, kind of, with all kind of questions, offcourse online. Then you can send it to one particulair person, who is gonna struble with them and comes up with the number of how many people will come or are willing to pay, contribute, etc.

I really would love to help in any kind of way, so let me know hahah.

Making a form is not that complicated i think. You can send it by email or pm to the members, and send it back to one person. I will do it if you all want hahah.

But do think that the most difficult part is, to book Meat Loaf and a hall for all the fans.

Well if you get into contact with Meat Loafs managment or something...i'm sure he has a manager which will be available to contact on the internet....maybe someone should do some research.....i'll have a nosey round! ^_^!

I would certainly be willing to help wiyh anything aswell.I would pay £40-50 to get Meat loaf to a MLUKFC Convention of some sorts. It would be COOOL!!!

I stated it was just an idea at the mo and how much are we looking at for roughly 30 mins spot by him and if its at all likely.

Still haven't heard anything yet, Kasim said he would forward my email to 'the proper' person, whether he meant Meat or his management I don't know, that was about 1 and ahalf weeks ago now but still early days I guess.

Hi All, still no news, I emailed 10th street entertainment too but still no reply back.
How about we try to organise a convention/gig with tribute band/s playing and then in the meantime if we hear back from Meats people it will be a bonus?.....
