Hi all,

Just a quick note to say I won't be in chat this week 'cause I am going to London to film an edition of the brilliant Uk quiz "15-to-1"!!!!!!!

I will let you know how I do and when I will be on the Tv so you can all arrange to be out that day and not have to watch it!!!!!!!!

Didn't do right well. I got my first two questions wrong so was out at the start.

The questions I got wrong were:

Which square in the Italian capital is the scene of an annual horse race?

The motorcycle sport Scrambling is now known as what?

Answers will follow shortly, when you ahev had chance to have a guess!

Well, I wouldn't have known that. But we were all wishing you luck I'm sure. Maybe that's where you went wrong. . .

Well, thats it. it's been ont eh TV and I have now made a pratt of myself in public!!!!!!

Oh well, I will be back next year for another go.

PS. I have just watched the film "Brassed Off" for the first time and seen myself. I am a trombone player in the background of one of the scenes. Remember them filming, but never thoguht I was in it!!!!!!!!!

Bouncing this back up to announce that once again, I have applied to go on the television.

This time on Channels 4's Faking It. Apparently they need a newsagent for the next series so I applied!!!!!!

Very strange... I've been in Sienna, where annually the Paladio (horse race) is held on the town square. But AFAIK, Sienna is *not* the capital of Italy (which is, like you'd know, Rome).... very strange indeed

Evil nickname, I could be wrong about the wording on the question. It was definitely asking for the square but it probably wasn't about the capital. I forgot to tape the program so have never seen it!!!!!

Does anyone remember a really rubbish ITV quiz which was shown at like 3am called STASH! I was also on that. It was done to make out that members of the public were collared in the street and asked questiopns to win cash. I gambled and lost :( !!!!!

Chris, I meant to ask- what is a newsagent? :oops:

There rather a strange breed, Native Texan, especially the ones from Yorkshire - you really hafta watch out for them ones!!! All a newsagent entails is standing around in a shop all day selling newspapers and magazines - not really hard work and not very taxing on the mind - hence a job perfectly suited to our Chris.... :lol:

Just had an email from Channel 4, following recent events, filming of countdown is suspended so my filming date is now cancelled. If filming resumes, i will be contacted for an alternative date. :(

And i didn't make it onto the new SkyOne Sudoku programme that starts tomorrow! :(

I have just had a telephone call from the BBC.

I will be facing Miss Robinson (and, obviously, flirting outrageously with her ;) ) in a few short weeks time!!!!

Anyone got any brown trousers and bicycle clips i could borrow!!!

Time for a little update.

I am now not filming the weakest Link next week as they are planning a series of specials in the new year - one of which will be newsagents!!

I can be seen on some rubbish show called something like "his and her friends" or something on one of the cable channels (possibly UKTV style??) very soon - look for the Halifax show and i am sat at the table next to them in the Halifax restaurant!!!:shock::shock:
