Hey ..am well happy, Cher is bringing her Final World Tour to Europe and I managed to get a B4, Row 1 ticket for May 21st 2004 at Wembley, UK :D

If you can, go see her in concert as she is great live!

I know she's on at Manchester, and I seem to remember hearing Sheffield as well Chris.... somewhere a little more local

i think i heard 20th feb for both the belfast and dublin gigs that the tickets go on sale and as it is her farewell tour i can imagine they will go really quick, so i think we had better grab them while we can :wink:

Booked Manchester and Sheffield.

There is a DVD of this show out now filmed during the American leg where she played to 2.2 million apparently.

Those rockers among you should note that while there are rock songs in the show they are mixed in with the likes of Believe and other Dance stuff and old songs like Gypsies Tramps and Thieves and I Got You Babe.

The shows are more Las Vegas than the 90's shows with the long-haired rock band.

Still great to watch though.

Just thought I would mention that Cher released "The Farewell Concert" on DVD this week, went in at number 3 in the DVD charts. I bought it and it is brilliant, definately can't wait till May now!! Still hoping Meat may make a surprise appearance for Dead Ringer! :wink:

Cher was Fantastic.....Dare I say it........One of the best concerts I've been at 8O

Cher plays Manchester tonight :D

Saw the Cher extravaganza at Manchester on Monday and Sheffield on Wednesday.

A terrific 90 minute show wirh a blend of rock, pop, dance combined with aerial ballet, dancers, a brilliant band led by Paul Mirkovich (keys) and David Barry a sensational guitar player.....oh and numerous wig and costume changes. Also had an elephant on stage (not real). If this is the last time it'll be a difficult act to follow.

A very mixed audience of all ages and genders, especially liked the guys in sailor suits and the ones with wings on their backs!

Wembley Arena 21st and 22nd May .. pure perfection!!! Sad I will never see Cher on stage again as was the Farewell Tour but she sure went out with a bang!! Was an amazing show! God bless ya Cher :D

By the way, did anyone see Pam Ann (comic) as Cher's support act in the UK? I thought she was so funny and just got a e-mail from her thanking me for e-mailing her!! She was the best (apart from Kasim) support act I have ever seen.

Yes saw Pam Ann, good the first time but knew the routine second time. The problem with a non-musical support act. You can sing a song a second time but the same joke wears thin. Good concept though.

True Mike, but I thought, most support acts you want to end as you just want to see the main star but with "Pam Ann" she really got Wembley going and I thought the act went by fast and I laughed alot!!!

Bought the Live CD "Farewell Tour" the other day ... is cracking!!!! :D
