A thank you for being so supportive through the good times and the bad times .
" Braver Than we are " is my Last Record . I wish Jim great success on his Musical , it has been his dream for more than 50 years . Jim's dream is coming true . Hoping my Dream will come through one day !! I don't believe there will be any more tours . I have a health problem other than the pinched nerve in my back , Which hurt like hell trough all that promo in the UK , Now I get to do the same Thing in NYC for a week .

Thank you Meat! You are a daily inspiration to me. You taught me the importance of studying a character, of learning something new every day, of being true to myself and the intentions of the character in a moment. I learnt more about acting listening to your albums than I did in 5 years of training.

I'm so glad that I got to say 'thank you for everything' at the London signing. I can never say thank you enough for what you have given me.

Thank you Meat! I'll forever remember how nervous I was before I met you back in 2008 and how quickly you set me at ease. The girls who met you prior to me burst out into tears upon meeting you. When it was my turn you asked my name, put your head in your hands and said 'oh Mike I can't believe I'm meeting you!' I couldn't stop laughing!

Braver Than We Are is an incredible end if it is your last record. Focus on your health, focus on your family & just know how much you're respected and loved by all of us!

Meat...to echo everyone else. Thank you. Others will sing Jim's songs but there no matter how good, how well produced, there will never be anything like what the two of you have produced together.

Look after yourself, enjoy whatever else you do in future. You have given every bit of yourself to us for long enough, more often than not with the critics biting your heels all the way.

One thing is certain, I for one will never, ever stop rocking. (And neither will my 5 and 2 year old girls who have a selection on your songs on their ipads too.)

I said it all in a PM, so I'll just say 'thank you'. This is a killer record, and a great way to end a 40+ year career. Get well, take care, and if fate is on my side then maybe I'll run into you at the musical next year.

From the 13 year old me (who heard you for the first time) to the 36 year old me (who's listening to your final album now) -- thanks for everything. It's been the greatest Gothic rock n roll saga ever. It woke me up to the world of music, and it still surprises me to this very day.

It's bittersweet, maybe, because who really likes to think of 'an ending', but man, it sure was one hell of a ride.

I has been a great journey. Since I was 7 and first heard AFL, then I rediscovered you when I was 14/15. Met you when I was 16. You and your work played a role at a very important part of my life and i thank you for being there. You have showed me and others what can be achieved.

I congratulate you on your achievements and hope you are proud in reflection on your 40 years. You must have had one hell of a time!

Heres to you and your health. You dream will come, mine is a similar one i believe.

Enjoy yourself and now is time to laugh and relax.

There are songs/albums I love, I like, dislike (and even hate). But, no matter on what side, all your albums have given me a passion about it like I have with no other artist.

There's a whole blanket of Thank You's I could shower you with. I'm terribly sorry you are in so much back pain, I admire your dog like tenacity to make your promo appearances in the UK for "Braver". I will be following your US promo and watching you birth "Braver" here in the States. Jim's dream is coming true through YOU and what an amazing man your are giving it all you have, so selflessly, to the whole project. I have not listened to Braver yet, but my time is coming. I cannot help but to be concerned about the other health problem that prevents you from touring. Whatever "that" is, I hate that it sidelined you from your stage craft. I love you right back and always will.

The Neverland Express is rolling into its final destination and the large Texan driver clumsily nudges the buffers. He laughs out loud and shouts back "that's it folks". The passengers disembark, wave goodbye to the sweat-soaked guy up front, thanking him for the world's greatest ride.
The crowd leave with huge smiles and swap memories and stories of their unbelievable trip.
This was always going to be a one way trip and really don't think anyone could survive a return!

Thank you Meat. Words cant describe what your music has meant to me over the years. Growing up I started listening to my mums old Vinyl's and instantly got hooked- when CHSIB came out I was 13 and ran to the supermarket to buy my first copy- this wasnt the cool thing to do- my friend's were listening to other music that was 'so good' I can barely remember what it was and they would likely fail to recall themselves. It's been a total roller-coaster- Braver than we are is a fine farewell- what an ending to a fantastic rock n roll journey. I hope your dream whatever it is Meat will some day come through- you deserve it.

On a side note over the years I've had two long term relationships and have converted both women to being big fans of yours (one of which is now my wife) so thats my contribution for you- you can thank me later ;)

Saw you first 1982 live in Hamburg, much more concerts followed. I'm very honoured to met you 2003 in Hamburg. Bought your records since 1979 ( oh yes, I love "Dead Ringer" and wish you had done the vocals on Jim's "Bad For Good"-Album ).

You gave us so much all over the decades, now think at yourself and your health - there's nothing more important than life. (Sorry for my english ... ).
Maybe there are some pearls in the vault ( outtakes, demos, unreleased takes, livetakes etc. ) for further releases? We all would be very happy with new "old stuff" if it's possible.

I love you like a brother even though I've never met you. You've been a very big part of my life for the past 23 years and to be honest if it weren't for you and you're music I'd parobaly be dead now. I had a terrible childhood and you're music is the only thing that kept me alive.

It saddens me to think that you're music career is over but I'm also happy that you are finally taking the well deserved time off. Whatever may be wrong with you health wise, I hope you get through it and it isn't to serious.

Please keep us posted with what's going on with you after all the promotion is over.
