Just heard that Meat is giving an interview on our local radio station tomorrow!

The programe is called Sunday music cafe - it is advertised that Meat will be chosing his favorite karaoke songs of all time.

Should be interesting will let you know how it goes!

Well they've just announced Meat will be "in the studio" for a full hour .. :)

Meat should be in the studio after 11 am!! :D

I'm hoping I can stay awake for another 40 min. It's after 3 am here. :D

I'm actually listening to it on another station in Suffolk but I DO have it on. Where's Tink with the pot 'o kwaff!!! Need . . . caffine . . .

LOL he did testify, he did say that.

Said a lot more then just testify though.
He talked about being boy george, couldn't you tell by the hat?
Karaoke is the devil's worship, he picked 3 song you could karaoke all you wanted, because he didn't give a ***** (Madonna's like a virgin, we are family and one more)
He talked about CHSIB, that it was the best album he did in 25 years, said there could be 8 singles from that instead off the now 2. He was asked iff because off you was indeed the new single, and he didn't know! 8O
Also he didn't want to talk about RHPS, because it was brought as this was the 30th annivarsary this years, and meat ofcourse doesn't feel like he's older than thta, so he scrapped it.
He also talked about his emergency surgery.

Well that's mostly it......hoep i didn't leave anything out.

It's just that I could almost hear that Renfield sort of laugh and it cracked me up. But being up all night waiting for the show could possibly have had something to do with that. :lol: Lack of sleep . . . yea . . . that's what it was!

did anyone tape the interview on the radio,if so i can trade for a copy if youd like to.

:D Glad to see that so many of you were able to catch the show!

My only disapointment was that they had promised an hour with Meat Loaf, in fact when you take out all the adverts and tracks played by different arists it was probably only 20 min with Meat!

:D But it was good, very good, the presenter opened by saying what he had planned to ask Meat then went on to say :
" I'm saying all this but he's one of those people where you can have all the questions you like planned out, you can plan what you want to get out of Meat Loaf, but it's all a bit of a gamble 'cos he tends to run off in different directions and talk about what he wants to talk about"
( :D Yeah! great isn't it :D )

Meat talked about CHSIB, mentioned Testify ( :D Hey T!) :lol:
It was mentioned by presenter that a new single, Because of you was due out around Nov. Meat seemed to know nothing of this!
He said how good the album was, that it was his best in 25years and that if anybody disagrees with him he will just punch them!....presenter said "fair enough, it's the direct aproach". Meat went on to say: " Boy George has a colum where if he don't like something he slags them off. Me I just look them up and punch them! Presenter said " fair enough I'm glad I'm being nice to you today" It was so funny!

He went on to say:
"You know how BOOH made plants grow, this album improves mental health in all people."
Presenter said he felt better just for hearing Meat today! This led to Meat saying it was because he had heard the title of the new album!

One thing Meat, that accent you took the mick out of is also my accent :lol:

Hope I haven't gone on too much, but it's such a big thing to have had Meat on our local radio!

LOL Vicki...your folks, my folks, pretty much everyone we know think we're nuts.

Oh, but not the nice folks we've met at ML concerts lately. They are great and seem to think we're sane!

Will post on the IA concert as soon as possible. Still not back to normal, if I was ever there.
