The Jameson company does spell it whiskEY. However it can be written either way. whisky, with no E, is the usual Scottish spelling. I do know my whisky/whiskey! Which ever way you spell it, I love drinking it. LOL

Still, service is now resumed and functioning as normal (or as normal as things can be when you're serving drinks in a virtual bar :wtf: ).

Think we're going to have to order extra ice during this weather.

 If I might make a recomendation.............

We take a tall glass.

A little ice in the bottom.

Fill 4 5ths with Baileys.

Add two large scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Add a cadburys flake and some chockie sprinkles.

Add two cherries (soaked in brandy).

Then we dump the whole damn thing into a half keg of cider and serve with a ladle.

Very cooling on a hot day.

A clever marketing gimmick which fooled me for a while until the penny dropped and I realise that not only was my "pint" of cider in fact half water, I was also ending the evening quite sober!

Maybe this is just a cultural thing, but I don't find asking for ice in your water to be unusual at all.

And don't drink cider. It's unusual for people to drink cider in Canada... even more unusual to put ice in any beer.

Than again, in the UK they apparently prefer beer warm...

.... And they STILL have a Queen?

If you look over in the corner there, there's a bloke who can ingrave the Monstro coat of arms on it for you

But talking whiskey, I was watching a program last night, and someone ordered a 30 year old scotch WITH ICE

That's a barable offence in this establishment.

I will be more than happy to set up a paypal account for the Bat & Bellfry, and if you would all like to pay me for the virtual drinks I sell, and the wit, wisdom, and insight I provide free of charge, like the virtual nuts that you don't see on the non existant virtual bar, i'll be do this job full time.
Until then, you can wait for your non existant toxicants ::p
