I think, somewhere deep in the depths of MLUKFC, there's an existing thread called What We Look Like....loads of pics in there, might be a bit out of date now though!!

It'd probably be worth a new thread anyway, the pics in the original thread are so old that half of them aren't online anymore!

Next time Meat comes to the UK on tour I'm gonna do a Meet and Greet! How much is it?

It was about £218 which included a great seat at the show, a t-shirt, signed HCTB CD, poster, laminate and a $25 coupon to the online store. I thought it was well worth the money and I'd definately do it again.

Even though I was terrified, I thought Meat was a really nice man and he tried really hard to put everyone at ease. ;)

Sweet! I've gotta do it! I'm going down to London to the Hell In A Handbasket signing and really really nervous as I've only seen Meat live once at Birmingham 2010, never met him, never spoke to him before! I'll go as far to say I'm down right scared! Lol I've heard he's a nice person and I know he is but it's just I've never done anything like this before in my life! Lol

He was amazing when he toured the UK! Not saying he isnt amazing when he's not in the UK but it blew me away!!!

I'll be at the London signing too and although I've met Meat before, I'm quite nervous as I've never been to a signing before.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Plenty of the MLUKFC people will be there and they've all come back saying they've enjoyed the signings in the past.

Oh dont get me wrong I'm excited and really looking forward to it but really nervous about meeting someone who I consider an idol and a masterful craftsman!

I didn't forget what my name was but I forgot to tell him what it was so he had to ask. I swear I made an idiot of myself because I was so nervous.

I'm just going to go and take things as they happen and remember that Meat's probably seen all this sort of thing before and that he understands. After all he went through the nerves when he met Elvis and John Lennon.

OK then can you please get a MOD in to delete this thread please? My apologies for not being observant enough!

No need to delete this, the other what we look like thread is so old now that posting in it would mess up the database a bit. This one can be "son of" and live on ...

But it says in the rules or however they name it basically not to make duplicate threads. I've made a duplicate thread so it should be deleted. If that's not the case then why was I told to check the page with the rules on?

I wasn't pointing out the rules, I was showing you were the links are to the older popular threads. They just happen to be on the same thread :wink:

As Andy said, new content posted on an old thread that hasn't been posted on for a long time does something weird (that's about as close I come to a technical term) to the database (and Andy should know as he, along with R are the admin, and therefore the brains of the operation.Yes, I know how screwed that makes us :facepalm: )

It could use a little fine tuning to leave a link in the last post of the old thread and the first post of the new thread.
And links to both in the popular thread thread.
Then there's renaming the thread........

Yeah, agreed. Seems like a waste of time and a pain in the arse to me, looking at a pic in this thread, going to another to talk about it....

:twisted: When the pic thread was started there were requests to split the threads because there was too much chat between members photos.
Believe me, it wasn't the mods that were making the requests :lol:

In the end the only solution was to have two threads. One for the pics and one for the chat.
It was, believe it or not, a popular move at the time.

It may seem to be a pain in the arse bouncing between threads.We might agree with you.But other people thought it was a pain in the arse looking through 20 pages of chat to see the pics of the people they were talking too.We might agree with them too.

End of the day, you can't please everyone :shrug:


And just to keep in my place as one of the poor suffering benighted ~~~~~~s that have got to try and keep everyone happy while also doing the general maintainance, i'll put these posts in the chat thread :lol:

They have stayed that way ever since.

When I first watched Wario's Anything For Love 2011 Style video I experienced one of those outer body sensations. I really believed it was me :shock::shock::shock:
The resemblance was uncanny and I still can't differentiate Wario from myself in some of those poses. Imagine a slightly slimmer Wario and chip in a sprinkling of Rodney Trotter and you have me. It ain't a nice combination, but it works :lol::lol:
Wario, I think we might be out of same gene pool !!!
