LA Times aired most offensive Busey interview to date
heres what aired:
to quote Gary: "from now on, any time you see Meat Loaf, you know somewhere theirs a village missing their idiot". I am flabbergasted. a line was crossed. |

And so it begins again.

ok so it's one of the following a) to continue to promote the show b) big shock they don't like each other ('oh no, whatever will we do') c) both
 |
Well thanks but no thanks as far as the clip is concerned. I've seen enough of Busey's posturing and swimming for the shore to last me a lifetime.
I'm not in the least surprised by the line you quote. This is imo a completely self-focused individual who is milking al the publicity he can get on the heels of his CA appearance and the contretemps with Meat, and probably some damage repair, as it became very clear in last week's episode just how disruptive and distracting his presence is in the team, how his utter concentration on himself and his own agenda comes close to sabotage of their efforts, and how manipulative and suddenly focused he becomes in the boardroom. All those he was working with on CA were united in condemning his behaviour; now all he can do is attempt to convince the public they "ganged up" on him, try to elicit sympathy by talking about the minute or so when he can be made to look the innocent victim, and in using that make rude and negative comments about the man who I agree with when he says his loss of composure gave Busey his best platform in years. He crossed the line? Imo he's been over the line for a long time, probably doesn't know what or where it is, and wouldn't recognise it if you held it up in front of him. I don't think he can see much beyond himself, his own feelings, thoughts and ideas. This is the best opportunity he's had in ages I suspect, so I'm not surprised at all. Some may drink it up, most will just laugh. Best thing to do if it upsets you is to just ignore it and not save it to your hard drive ;) Just walk on by. Caryl |
Oh my God, he is so delusional. They are jealous of him? He's got to be kidding. And all those ridiculous comments he was making at the end, I have seen emails making the same jokes a few times, they are not even original. He is just a broken record and like Caryl says, milking all the publicity he can get for all it's worth while it lasts because in a few weeks he will be yesterdays news.

LMAO I start to like Busey more and more. The guy is funny as hell!
And well, the Meat Loaf thing... Gary does everything right here. People have already made their judgement (nobody except the fans here are behind Meat) and Busey is doing a good job finishing Meat off. No matter what the outcome of the show is Meat's outburst is what will be remembered. Oh well, Gary is funny though |

I guess because nobody knew the context of the scene.
But it's obvious when someone goes beserk on national tv this way there isn't much to justify it. And from what was aired there was no justification whatsoever for the meltdown. |

By staying out of the spotlight, Meat is kicking ass! Gary hates the fact that Meat wont fight back and STRETCH out this farce... Best Be to forget about Gary! |
One last thought
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and kick your ass with experience.

This is the biggest delayed reaction to a confrontation I've ever seen. Gary was deadpan when Meat expressed himself months ago when the show was taped. Now Gary is publicly baiting him on whatever publicity he's mustering up. Gary can't just laugh it off because he is beginning to crumble with each episode the Apprentice airs. Meat got his frustrations out and is done with it, he won't be baited again. Lesson learned.

As far as I'm concerned, Gary was being a ~~~~hole on the apprentice, he got told by Meat Loaf, and now Gary's whining like he's the victim. Its coming full circle already, and the more Gary interviews surface, people will wonder if there is another side. Then Meat will turn up on some talk shows when the timing is right, and he will provide the other side of the story, but he will be respectful to Gary in doing so, because that is who Meat is. People will probably take note of that. |

its so funny really, Gary enjoy your 15 minutes. you may even get a movie from it? its easy going on tv and crying to newspapers, but when you were in the same room as Meat you ran off scared? you wanted no part of Meat. man up and go say it to Meats face. Gary Your Fired!!!!!

LOL. You'd almost forget that the show is all about raising money for charity

You'd almost forget people can have different opinions on what they think is best for Meat

You'd both almost forget that this is a LCA thread, not a "Youd almost forget" thread ;)

I'm about sick of all this drivel .. and second-guessing the "coulda-woulda-shoulda's" on how it was handled or why. Busey is obviously milking this cash cow for all he can because once its over and done with, he will be as well. Meat reacted.. he's human..so what?? This level of "emotional expression" is what made all of you FANS in the first place. Busey is manipulative, evasive, contrary and uncooperative. Maybe you should be reconsidering YOUR values when you support those "finer traits" over an honest human emotional reaction. And if its that easy to turn tail and sit behind the monitor and criticize someone for being HUMAN, then maybe YOU spend a few weeks in a room with Busey and walk a few miles in the shoes THEY had to... Gary could drive anyone to the brink.

I just never get used to blatant disrespect or rudeness ;) under ANY circumstance and Mr. Busey has more than served up both despite a VERY public apology. |

to quote Gary:
"from now on, any time you see Meat Loaf, you know somewhere theirs a village missing their idiot". I am flabbergasted. a line was crossed.[/QUOTE] Busey should talk about village idiot. Him being that immature just goes to prove that. Really, move on buddy. He is just trying to get a rise from Meat. Wow is all I can say. There is a fine line between good tv and just being the biggest tool in the tool box. Even my friends who haven't really followed the apprentice are tired of Gary. Anyway, he can say what he wants. His 15 minutes will be done soon. :? |
Wait a tic...E1 was banned? O_o
