Are you taller than Meat Loaf?
 

I dunno how I found this. 2 things you always hear about Meat in a casual conversation is his voice, and weight. But never did I ever think there would be such a lengthy page just about his height!

does it really matter at the end of the day?

All that does matter is that the lungs are functioning, he's healthy and that he wants to and can sing/perform

I must say, I have never met Meat, however, back in 1999 I was stood about 30 feet from Meat Loaf (My mum used to work at Sheffield Arena), but I was not allowed to approach him (not Meat, arena security) I was 16, and Im just a shade under 5'9, and I can say Meat was not much bigger than me - I would say 5'10 1/2 to 5'11 - I was sort of shocked as I always imagined this giant man being 6'6 and over. Then when we saw him 2008 at Caslte Howard (not harewood house) My partner (we were at the front) could not beleive how 'short' Meat is. Saying that, John must be quite short, and most of the band, because I dont think many of them are taller than Meat. I once met Kelly Jones of Welsh band The Stereophonics, and he must be 5'4" at the most. I hate being short

Meat is about 5 10 i would say, a lot taller than me, but i guess you can see that;LOL..

He isn't as tall as my hubby he is 6ft 2, which means i am even more like a hobbit next to him ! Me stood between Andy and my hubby is hysterical;)

Half a Apple? where does that come from? lol I once heard in the movie 'Meet The Parents' , the crew had to work with Robert DeNiro's height. Filming the shot where so appeared average height :-P
