Meat will be appearing in Monk !
According to the IMDB, he'll be playing Reverend Jorgensen in Season 8, Episode 3 ..... in August 2009. The show will be on the USA network (here in the States) on Friday Night at 9:00 EST http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1458263/ |
Cant wait to see it not really a big fan of the show but I'll watch it if Meat Loaf is in it thanks for the info. :D
|
I loved Monk. AFAIK, it got cancelled here, worse luck.
Hope it is a good episode. :-) |
Monk is still on I haven't watched the show in a long time. I guess I'll keep an eye out for this episode.
BTW Dumb question....why is thenakedwire.com down? just wondering tryied to access the site earlier today. |
According to the IMDB, Meat's episode should be the 3rd on of the season :-)
And I think it was Pud who posted that thenakedwire.com has been hacked. |

So does anyone know what Monk we're aiming for to see? Is he in the new season yet? And when is he on?

According to the IMDB, it's the 3rd episode of the upcoming season (which starts on August 7th). So if that's true, Meat's episode will be shown on August 21st :)) Vicki |
So do you think ml will be a baddie, a good guy, or a funny/dramatic character?
|
I'm hoping for a funny / dramatic character :-)

According to TV.com, it's Episode #8, and will air on October 9, 2009.
Now we'll just have to wait and see if that date is correct. |
TVrage.com concurs with TV.com, Episode #8 9th October, I think we can say that that date is correct

Meat Guest Stars On "Monk" 9/25/09
My all time favorite show has my alltime favorite singer/actor on next Friday in the USA on the USA Network. Meat plays a "reverend" in a show about voodoo. For those not in the US it is usually found in some other places a few hours after it airs. Sorry if this is already posted, I did not see it anywhere.
|
I did a search (after posting duh) and saw another thread. However when I see the board the other thread did not show up. Anyway sorry to re-post.

 Best something is posted twice rather than not at all  And threads are easy to merge  |

You can see a preview of the episode on MONK's Official website (scroll down to the middle of the page when the clip starts automatically) : http://www.usanetwork.com/series/monk/ Got to love your hair Meat :lmao: Vicki |
Reminder Meat's on tonight. This episode has been getting tons of commercials and Meat is very prominently mentioned as a special guest star. Too bad the new CD isn't ready with all this publicity (more promotion than he got for Bat3). "Monk" placed top 5 in last week's cable ratings and several of the shows ahead of it were football so it will be seen by a lot of people. Hopefully this will help Meat get more tv and film roles. If you don't get USA Network there are "ways" you can get the show shortly after it airs if you're internet savvy.
|
I'm really looking forward to it :))

Just watched it. When Natalie drank the thing and I saw Meat's reaction, I almost wet myself.

Meat was absolutely hysterical ! He and Monk made a perfect team :)) |
Boy that Monk episode was certainly a fun one to watch. From his stand up hair to his very 70's van to his "IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT" line. I found it all pretty bizarre and damn funny. And by bizarre I mean that in a good and creative way. Trying to piece in where the NY Yankee bling belonged and the preacher hat. Just good ole' fashioned funny.
And yes, the Mr. Monk and Reverend J. did make a good team in the end. And another show where Meat didn't DIE. Meat has survived House, Citizen Jane and Monk. Oh and obviously he survives Ghost Hunters which airs next week here in the states. Meat's on a living roll. LOL. Suzieq |

maybe the big twist is that he has been a ghost all along  |
Have to say I've never watched Monk before, but I quite enjoyed it. As a horror fan I liked to references to the exorcist and final destination.
Meat was quite good as the mad voodo guy, though I think the role had more potential. One thing I didnt get |

I thought Meat was hilarious in the role :) I expected it to be funny, but it was better than I expected. -Kathy |
I love the little spoiler button too
I absolutely agree with what you said Kathy. I thought Meat was absolutely hysterical ! I started laughing as soon as I saw him with that hair :lmao: and I thought the entire scene with Monk was absolutely brilliant. I don't know why, but the ambulance chase scene reminded me of something out of Leathal Weapon (or maybe the Blues Brothers) and I would love to see Meat do a buddy / comedy movie :)) |

I caught it on friday at 9 and I think at 11, been awhile since I watched the show. When I first caught it I was like ml looks like he stuck his fingure into a light socket. Then later on had to laugh at the 911 line, lucky totems in the van, and how he said "Get another ambulance cause this one is cursed". I thought the rev would have had a heart attack with having to put up with monk. Plus a few days earlier I caught a movie called Citzen Jane with ml as well.
Did anyone get the Exorcist reference when he shows up at the house in Monk??? |
I loved this episode. For once, here was a character who could distract one from Monk's at times grating OCD. Meat played the Reverend to the hilt, pulling every nuance out of the dialogue that made it even more hilarous, and I, too, wish he and this character could be brought back again. He and Monk played off each other beautifully.

Just watched it. It was hilarious and it was nice to see him in a funny role. Made me forget how disappointed I was about Ghost Hunters. :D
|
Aww come on you don't want to ask the light up thingy if they liked it to?
Sorry it's late, drank a 44 oz of pop, ate candy, and catching up on the board messages. |
