I see Meat Loaf will be on the Musical Star Show 2008 on ZDF tomorrow (16th april).

As I can't read german, what is the show about?

basically a casting show for musical singers.

have been on the phone with the zdf several times the last few days, looks like everything has been arranged very shortly. Hell only be a talk guest though, he wont sing.

Good thing is, it'll be produced only a few streets away from my house (!!), bad thing is tickets are all gone :(

oh right... thought he might of performed or something...
Guess you could always wait outside and you might see him arrive :-) lol

waiting for a recall from the zdf right now to see if this is possible.

been there,
show wasnt really great, he sat on the red couch all the time but didnt talk very often (or wasnt asked very often), he mostly commented on the performances of the contestants, and told the old stories (paid to stay clothed in hair, etc)

was great to be in one room with him again though :))

first Meat Loaf show of the year is done then [x]

ps, ive recorded it on vhs, dont think anyone would be interested to see it though.

Can pass proper comment when i see the show but to me he looks worn down, there also seems to be a bit of something (cant think of word right now) in his eyes, not looking as good as recent promo activities

And he hasnt even started the tour yet

he seemed ok to me, not tired or anything....infact he seemed to be like always (is that a proper english sentece?? )

almost lol...well someone who has seen the vid says he looks ok so maybe its just bad camera angles then lol

I think he looks really well but he's certainly aged over recent months...me thinks age is catching up!

Thats prob more what i was seeing lol when you look at the pics further down the page in rj's link from earlier in the year he certainly does look more tired and yes older lol


Well the ticket business has taken its toll on all of us so maybe its worked its eveil magic on him too lolol

Altough Meat's looking older in those pics, I'd put some of it down to jet lag, hadn't he only just flown in to Germany prior to this show?

I think he looks gorgeous if he looks old it's probably because he is old but for 60 i think he looks great! maybe a bit thinner but thats not a bad thing! he looks better than he does on the 3 bats dvd and he looks happy to me! i think he is beautiful and i'm only a young thing to be saying that! thanks for the link to the pics!

I'm in total agreement with you Heg..though i'm not a young thing!

i didnt have time to watch the whole thing before going out, now i have i think the getty photographer needs to be shot, he definately looks much better in the video :))

I think he has aged more since the health problems, which would take it out of anyone...

Compare the pics of when ICHSIB came out to now and there's a big difference i think...but hey

i wasnt even thinking that far back, i could understand that but when you look at the pics on getty from jan this year to the pics they have of the show there was a huge difference. But it was obviously the photographer as he looked fine in the video to me.

Of course there will be a big difference, he's 5 yrs older lol..

dont know what parts of the shows youve uploaded deb, but to anyone who watches it: the guy whos yelling the loudest is me :))
