I think it's great that Meat himself actually comes onto this forum...it just goes to show that he really is interested in what his fans think. Guess it makes us mere mortals feel appreciated too... :lol: :P :lol: :P :lol: :P

Well... I've seen many other forums/email groups where imposters pretended to be the real thing and they always got exposed. That's what made me sceptical, he he...
BUT:
1. Then R. said Fire Ball was Meat. And he's the admin here. That made me wonder.
2. Then I saw the mlukfc URL on the booklet. That made me wonder even more.
3. Then I saw the Irish guy telling about his meating with Meat after the Kelly Show. That convinced me (I think I was convinced already, just refused to believe it)
4. Then, finally, the interview on Dutch radio where the subject of his nickname came up: "no, my nickname is Fire Ball"

I nearly fell of my chair he he he ...

Now... there's common sense and there's gut feeling. Sometimes I go by the head and sometimes I go by the heart. This time I chose the head. Wrong choice. :lol:

I was a little suspicious when he first posted. He actually posted last year as a guest, before he signed in and got the name Fireball.

The things that gave it away for me were his grammar and seemingly random use of capitalisation. Also, he knew things that no one else would, such as tour dates, release info etc.

Yeah and we all know how I know It's him 8O :oops: :? :(

Meat told me yesterday that I have to tell you that he is Fire Ball.
In fact, he shouted it at the beginning of the Meet & Greet so that everyone around could hear it.

And ... a very big thank you from Meat to each and everyone to those who couldn't be there.

"Tell them there will be more Meet & Greets like this".

I didn't really doubt that it was him in the first place I just wanted to know how you all got to know that it was him - I mean im sure that when he first posted on here, other people must have had the same thoughts and seen as Im only a newcomer I just wanted a bit of clarification so thanks for clearing it up for me and I look forward to many more posts by Fireball cos I think it's great that he communicates with his fans so well.

Yeah...I already was convinced Meat is Fire Ball, he he he... If he sets up a meet and great in december in Holland, I WILL be there!
And R... you recognizing me in the hallway on my way out... I understand that wasn't a big deal for you of course. But It was to me. Just seeing your face and hearing your voice... I always like to meet internet-people IRL. I didn't think I was going to see you there, but you found me. That was great!

these Meet and greets just show how much above everyother musician Meat really is......... who else shows appreciation towards there fans in this way.....the best way!!??? Its not just his music that touches us, it himself fullstop as well.!!!
