I hope Patti remembered to introduce him.

She did, and he stayed for an extra two songs.

Patti was outstanding, I mean really phenomenal.

The turn out wasn't great again - about 30 if not less - but let me tell you she doesn't give a rats ass! She's truly happy and loving every minute of what she's doing.

hairyone 19 Apr 2014 20:05

JOHN PARR - Awesome, saw him supporting both Journey and Richard Marx, was brilliant both times (hearing the acoustic version of the Best was brilliant!)

Looks like a brilliant set list and good sounds from the videos so far - really looking forward to next Sunday at Islington!

Hope there are some copies of the EP left for me to buy!

LucyK! 19 Apr 2014 20:22

We've sold 28 but I'm sure there are plenty!!

LucyK! 20 Apr 2014 01:26

Another outstanding performance tonight!

Wario 20 Apr 2014 03:43

Masculine, Rock and Roll Mercenaries and Burning Down.

So, while Wario is having a coronary due to excitement... Long Train Running, Great Balls of Fire and another rock and roll classic that we can't name right now.

Cherry.Loaf 20 Apr 2014 13:29

Last night was incredible; not a lot of people I'd say about 40? However everyone was dancing and having a good time :)

Meeting Patti after the show was amazing and she congratulated me and Ash on our wedding :) my face still hurts from all the smiling!

Guy 20 Apr 2014 22:50

I think Patti is a gem. And also has fantastic teeth.
Looking forward to Brighton...and maybe London

Patti was superb.

I didn't have high expectations but let me tell you this was almost as good a show as I have seen Meat and Bruce Springsteen do. It was as if she was performing to thousands. And she should be doing that. The quality, fun and smile factors are all there. It was incredibly impressive for her first outing as a solo artist. The great 4 piece band which includes Jamie Moses on guitar, creates a wall of sound that the pre-accused murdering mind of Phil Spector would have been proud off.

The fact that I live in the world where the majority of people choose to sit at home on a Saturday night and expect entertainment to grace their TV screens in the form of advertised chattering mayhem such as Britain's Got Talent and the X Factor makes me very sad. Millions watch that drivel. Something isn't right and should be fixed...

I urge anyone with even the slightest of interest in good live music and the type of music that Patti performs (rock / Queen / some Meat Loaf) to come down to the remaining shows in Brighton, Leicester and London and check her out! No excuses, just do it!

I hope this is the start of something big for Ms Russo and I'm actually hoping that next time Patti tours I can't even get a ticket due to huge demand. That would be something she deserves I think. Don't get me wrong, I'd still get into the venue somehow! :-P

Go see her live!!

Wario 21 Apr 2014 03:53

how rowed are the shows so far? big crowd?

Smithie 21 Apr 2014 18:40

Apparently 80 or so at Brighton.
The train is growing longer and stronger but it will take time.

This is just the very start.

From small things big things one day come...

Tina.K. 22 Apr 2014 15:54

Thanks to Andrew, Patti just did a radiointerview on BBC Radio Leicester. They also played Bible and a beer.

She's very gratefull for that. Well done, Andrew!

Let's all promote Patti where we can! She deserves it.

Dave 22 Apr 2014 21:28

The size of the crowd does not matter...the quality of the show does. The most fantastic shows I have ever seen or been part of have been in front of small sized crowds. Some of the larger houses I have performed in and/or seen shows in have left me disappointed.

knockknock1997 22 Apr 2014 23:38

Merchandise

Does anyone know what merchandise is available to buy at the shows ?

Tina.K. 23 Apr 2014 10:55

The interview on radio Leicester, Patti's on around 1.13.

Link will only be working for a week from yesterday.

I agree. I do hope though that Patti can draw well enough to cover expenses and maintain interest in getting more bookings.

As I have mentioned I saw Meat perform in a club before a similar sized crowd and he still went on as though the place was packed. Also remembering that as Meat himself has pointed out success is not measured by numbers alone but in giving it all you've got every time. No doubt Patti feels the same way. I admire her for going after her dream and not letting things get her down or worrying about her age.

Patti deserves so much and I hope she will be happy in the fact that she is performing great as always.
